This Calendar of Events, compiled by the Town of Hempstead Office of Tourism, details many of the outstanding activities available to residents and visitors alike during the month of December.

The chill in the air and beautiful decorations adorning our residential communities and downtown business districts mean that the holidays are here. It’s a time of year when residents and visitors can take advantage of a wealth of seasonal musical presentations and ceremonies. Many other special events and theatrical productions make December a truly exciting month in the Town of Hempstead.

Tourism affords an opportunity for residents and visitors to enjoy many services and facilities within the township. Hempstead continues to offer top-notch programs at the same time as the

Hempstead Town Board has approved a balanced 2018 budget that cuts our government’s spending for the third consecutive year.
