Prathibha Sudhir is a Project Manager with Global Delivery Center (GDC) organization, part of
Advanced Services at Cisco. Her current role as PM is to engage and drive Customer Project
governance end to end mainly focused on Cisco’s EMEAR accounts. Prathibha has been with Cisco
for over 8 years and started by supporting C-Level Management Team in Globalization and S+CC
Teams contributing right from planning of Campus inauguration to setting up the robust Executing
Briefing Centre and played key roles in high profile customer visits in the capacity of executing
hosting. She then moved to assist Sanjay Pal – VP, Advanced Services during his leadership tenure
in Bangalore and has played an impactful role in extending support to Sanjay and his Leadership
Team across the globe in the capacity of an Executive Assistant for the three years.
Prior to Cisco, Prathibha has worked with Intel Technologies as Operations Analyst focusing on
Frontline Customer Support, Partner Portal Analysis and Technical Troubleshooting via remote
access capabilities. And prior to Intel, she worked for Aricent Technologies as EA to General Manager
and also worked with Harman Technologies focusing on Sales Co-ordination. She has an overall 18
years of professional experience in various corporates. Prathibha is well recognized as Tools Champ
within India Admin Board and across APJC Admin Communities within Cisco and has attended Star
Achievement Programme Level 1 and 2 held in Cisco, San Jose in 2009 and 2011. She joined Indian
Association of Secretaries and Admin Professionals (IASAP) in Oct 2008 and currently holds the title
of Chairperson of IASAP for Bangalore Chapter. She was adjudged with Runner up title at The All-
India Secretary and Administrative Professional of the Year Contest in the year 2010 and 2012.
Prathibha holds a Diploma in Commercial Practice from Karnataka Board of Technical Education
and recently got certified as Agile ScrumMaster. Her passion includes Racing Sports, Performing Arts
and the latest one is Horse Riding with her 9 years old daughter.

Ipsita Dasgupta Chief Commercial Officer – GE South Asia
Ipsita Dasgupta is the Chief Commercial Officer for GE South Asia. In this role she is responsible for
leading a consolidated commercial game plan and ‘Go to market’ strategy for the South Asia region. She is responsible for marketing strategy, new product/solution initiatives and strategic customer accounts
across GE businesses. She leads ‘In India for India’ growth programs and drives sales force effectiveness
for the region and is responsible for Bangladesh.
Prior to this, she served as the Chief Marketing Officer - GE India, South Asia and Greater China. In this role, Ipsita’s priorities include building new business strategies to increase GE’s footprint and define
region and country-centric solutions for customers. Her mandate includes developing a strong market-
backed understanding of the region; driving localization strategies; designing customer solutions; and
creating go-to-market plans.
Prior to joining GE, Ipsita Dasgupta was an executive in Cisco’s Globalization – East business. As
Managing Director, Smart Connected Communities – Emerging Businesses, Ipsita was developing
business opportunities in Emerging Markets, specifically focused on the global, emerging middle
class. Her role included driving partnerships and business models with established companies that sell
products and services to this market segment, entrepreneurs who need technology to scale and grow, and public sector organizations and institutions.
Ipsita joined Cisco from IBM, where she worked since 2002, bringing multi-faceted experience in
building and leading strategic business and consulting competencies at company-wide and regional
levels. Some of her roles included building and driving marketing strategies and practices for IBM’s global hardware, software and services businesses; building and leading IBM’s global senior consulting
Center of Competency out of India; leading and strengthening IBM’s competitive intelligence/strategy
practice for Corporate Headquarters. Before her IBM experience, Ipsita worked with the management
consultancy Arthur D. Little as a strategy consultant.
Ipsita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Economics from Columbia University, and a
Masters in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.

Executive Briefing of The Mumbai Dabbawalas
Mumbai’s 5,000-odd dabbawalas have been in action for over 125 years now, without any work
stoppages. They deliver nearly 2,00,000 lunches every day and on time. Their unique management and
operational models have become subjects of management study beyond text books for global business
schools. The dabbawalas have a Six Sigma quality certificate and a global business fan club that includes
Prince Charles and Mr Richard Branson. Mr Arvind Talekar (Spokesperson) along with Mr Raghunath
Medge (President) together share their inspirational success story. Mr Talekar delivers the talk in English
and Mr Medge talks in Hindi generally taking up Q&A about their success story.

Raghunath Medge - Born in 1955, Mr Medge has been the President of Nutan Mumbai Tiffin Box
Supplier Charitable Trust for the last 20 years. He has been associated with the organisation from last 33
years. In his tenure, the organisation was honoured with Six Sigma Certification and the achievements
were recorded in the Guiness Book of World Records. He was a special invitee to the marriage of Prince
Charles. He delivers his talk in Hindi and Marathi and is invited across the globe for sharing his success
story.
Arvind Talekar: Arvind's grandfather Late Sh Laxman Talekar was a dabbawala & had joined the
organisation in 1920. His father Mr. Gangaram Talekar has been the General Secretary of the
organisation for the last 20 years. Arvind joined his father in 1965 and has now grown to become the
spokesperson for the Dabbawalas Association. His lectures are very popular with the top management
institutions of the country and multinational corporates.

Yvonne began her working career from the lowest rung of the ladder as a Typist in UNION BANK OF
INDIA where she worked for a period of 5 years. She then moved on to the Secretarial field in the Pharmaceutical Industry; currently in the post of Assistant Manager, Marketing Services with
FRANCO-INDIAN PHARMACEUTICALS PVT.LTD.; supervising the office staff and co-ordinating with
the field staff of the Northern and Eastern states of India. In all, she has had an extremely long
working innings of 42 years. By the end of this year, it will be time to hang up her boots and call it a
day at the office.
Yvonne has moved from strength to strength. In her younger days, she had been a stellar athlete and
hockey player; her pet events being the 100 mts. Hurdles and High jumps. She then specialized in
tailoring wedding gowns for the Catholic community. She loves travelling and has many foreign tours
lined up. Yvonne takes pleasure in making friends and enjoys social networking. She is the member
of the YWCA besides being a member of the Parish Women’s Cell.
Yvonne met and married the love of her life while in Union Bank. The Alphonsos are blessed with two
wonderful children – a son, happily married and settled in Goa, and a pretty daughter who shares the
same birth date with her…. 6th September. A couple of years ago, Yvonne was upgraded to the post of
GM………Grand Mother!!! And, in a couple of months, she will have her hands full with a new arrival
in the family.
Yvonne was introduced to the erstwhile National Institute of Professional Secretaries now known as
IASAP way back in 1994. After receiving so much from this prestigious association, it was payback
time. She finally fulfilled her vision of being on the Governing Council and today is the President, All-
India of IASAP – Indian Association of Secretaries and Administrative Professionals. Recently, in September, she led an Indian delegation of 24 members to the 22nd Asia Pacific Congress held in
Karachi, Pakistan. And, in November, she will hand over the baton to the next runner, in line for
Presidentship.

Wilma D’Costa is the Executive Secretary to Mr. R Gopalakrishnan, Director, Tata Sons Ltd., the parent
company of the Tata Group. She joined Tata Sons Ltd. 17 years ago. Prior to Tata Sons, she worked with
Rallis India Ltd. and Mafatlal Industries Ltd.
She holds a B.A (Hons.) Degree with History and Politics and graduated from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai.
She completed her Executive Secretarial Course at Sir J J College of Commerce.
She joined the Governing Council of IASAP in 2005 as a member and then held positions of Hon. Secretary
and Vice President of IASAP, before becoming the President of IASAP. Her tenure as President was from
2011 – 2013. She is currently the Immediate Past President of IASAP. IASAP has provided her with the
platform to network with the best in the profession, across Chapters in India and Asian countries. She
brings to the fore her rich experience arising out of interactions with Secretaries across the globe.
She led the Indian delegation for the 21st ASA Congress from 1st to 6th September 2012, hosted by the
Professional Secretaries’ Welfare Association (PSWA) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The theme of the Congress
was “STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE: IN LEAGUE WITH TECHNOLOGY”.
Wilma addressed about 250 secretaries and administrative assistants in Bangalore at the behest of the
Confederation of Indian Industry [CII].
With her busy office schedule, she does make time for her fitness regimen. She loves Western music and
passed exams conducted by the Trinity College of Music, London. Her hobbies include travelling and music.
She participated in the Lavasa Womens’ Car Rally in Mumbai in March 2009 which was organized for the
first time in the city. This car rally was to bring about awareness of cancer in women and organized by the
Times Group and Tata Memorial Hospital.
