More on MADƎE nergy

Team Members and Roles Alex Kroll – Project Manager Jessica Roberts – Communication Specialist Zach Bartemy – Primary Facilitator Javal Swift – Resource Manager

Team’s Problem Statement We aim to assist Mr. Evan Bowen, employee of Alcoa Inc., in an environmental initiative to

formulate appropriate energy reduction recommendations at the Kawneer Customer Operations Center, located at 2031 Deyerle Ave. in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Appropriate energy reduction methods should lower consumption by a minimum of 10 percent while considering the comfort, health and productivity of the 100 plus employees of the workspace. An initial budget of 2000 dollars is currently available to develop initial energy reduction recommendations for spring of 2016. From here the team will have until spring of

2017 to implement, evaluate, and produce further recommendations.
