This screen grab illustrates the relationship between lyrics/ narrative and visuals as during the song it repeats the word smoking , which we have used

as the background .

This screen grab show distinctive conventions of punk rock bands as laid out by our record label, with the anarchy background and the band going wild,

clearly representing the expectation of our record label.

This photo represents the prop as it shows guitar, and drums, also customs are evident, further enhancing the punk genre.

Now this photo shows intertextual reference being displayed, as it was taken from a scene from Beverly Hills cop.

This photo on the other hand showed clearly the urban setting of our music video with a car park. This photo gives people impression of an urban setting

without watching the music video.

This photo showed the best of editing and camerawork combined as getting both right was a task. The background is almost seamless showing the lengths

we where prepared to take to make it perfect.

This particular screen grab was very prominent in my mind as the perfect one for the lighting as it showed how lighting could be effective in telling the

narrative. Showing a realistic scene of opening an eyeing the morning.

This photo shows the genre of our music video as being, punk like , with such things as the punkie background and the glasses further convey the punk

convention.
