The photo from an actual gig is exciting for my target audience as they enjoy going to rock gigs. Also the person in the picture would be a popular artist.

The consistent colour scheme ensures that the magazine looks professional.

The clear layout throughout the magazine makes people want to pick it up as it is easy to read.

CONTENTS PAGE

The “Subscribe to L” section breaks the colour scheme drawing a lot of attention to it. This section would attract my audience who don’t want to go out and buy the magazine every week and who also want to save money.

The “WIN” heading is exciting for my audience as they have the chance to win multiple things including the guitar which I have included an image of to draw more attention to this competition.

The brands within my contents page such as “Dean Boca” will attract my audience as these brands are popular with my target audience.

I have used the same model throughout my magazine on the cover, contents page and double page spread. This shows consistency throughout the magazine and people who have bought my magazine because of the front cover, will not be disappointed.

“WILD CHILD” will draw in mytarget audience as teenagers and young adults are stereotypically rebellious and like to hear about others rebellious attitudes. The word “Wild” in a different font will automatically draw them to it.

DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD

Having the name of the feature artist at the top of the page will draw in her fans to this particular double page spread.

The word “Exclusive” stands out with the rest of the important information on the page in the colour red. This makes the interview stand out from other magazine’s interviews as ‘Louder!’ have the ONLY interview with this act.

The clothes worn by my model are alternative and fashionable which my audience can relate to as they may wear this type of clothing.

. The colours used in my cover . . match the house style of my whole magazine. I have used red for the questions asked and white for the responses by the artist. This makes the . . interview easy to follow for readers of any age or ability.

The pull quote not only again connects with the rebellious attitude of teenagers, but this declarative statement also makes readers curious to read on.

The other images on the page are from gigs that the artist has done and this is exciting for my target audience as they see the artist performing with their other favourite artists
