History educational institution number 5 san José
The creation of this institution arose, when several hundred (248) young people were left out
of the official establishments of the municipality. The parents pressed for a fair solution; Due to
this, a committee formed by borrowing members of the community was formed and among
others, Dr. Abel Royo Galeano, as secretary of municipal education, Deputy Ovidio Mejía
Marulanda, Ángel Mercado Rúa representing educational supervision, Alba Quiles Pacheco as
head of the nucleus, several parents and students affected. This commission initially made a
diagnosis and analysis of the situation and determined that the solution to the problem of
educational coverage, would be solved by establishing a new section in the physical plant where
the nighttime works since there is a basic structure in it.
The aforementioned commission continued advancing efforts, in front of the departmental
authorities, that is how they got the support through the departmental assembly of the guajira, as
well as the departmental education secretary at the head of Herlinda Gómez Mejía, the first
lubric institution its unconditional support approving the ordinance number 004 of February
1998, by means of which it was given free way to the operation of the commercial technical day
of the departmental school of baccalaureate San José. For its part, the secretary of departmental
education pledged to appoint the list of teachers, administrative and service personnel.

In 1998 the sanitary conditions of the campus where the night was working, were very

The INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA Nº 5, has the mission of offering educational services for

education, using pedagogical programs in the Technical and Academic modality through
construction of a comprehensive education based on the world of NTIC’S and promoting the

to society in general
INSTITUTIONAL VISION
THE INSTITUCIÓN EDUCATIVA Nº 5, will be a leading entity in the provision of
Educational Services at the Basic, Medium and Technical Level, with ICONTEC Quality
Certification processes, with an efficient, effective Human Resource, with high Ethical values
and projection towards the community in general
GENERAL OBJECTIVE.
Made an analysis of the Institutional Educational Project, which results in a diagnosis of the
Educational Institution No. 5 Commercial Technical Headquarters San José, Sindelima and
Comunal El Carmen has as a general objective of each and every one of the educational levels

1. Develop socio-educational and technological interaction actions that lead us
towards the implementation of plans and programs designed to improve the operation of

My advisor teacher
My advisor teacher is Carlos Rosado, he is teacher from English, but he dictates Spanish too, he
has 12 years of experience as an English teacher
My students profile
My students are very young and cheerful, sometimes they are too messy, also they are very
curious kids, they like to participate in class, but they don’t like the written exam, they prefer the
oral exam, they are all good and intelligent kids.
