Dear Friend,
As we look gratefully back to this years successful General
Assembly on
Faith and Human Life, and hopefully towards the continued
celebration of life, I
write to inform you of a most important initiative congruent
with the Holy Fathers
desires for the Year of Faith.It is none other than a
pilgrimage, to profess our faith and bringing faithful
from all over the world together in Rome to celebrate
Evangelium Vitae: Faithful to Life.
On the15th and 16th of J une2013, will be held a series of talks
celebrating
Evangelium Vitaealong with Mass on Sunday with Pope Francis.
Also in the name of the President of the Pontifical Academy for
Life, His
Excellency Ignacio Carrasco de Paula, I hope that you may be
able to participate, orat least promote this initiative through
your contacts. Registration is obligatory in
order to obtain the ticket for the Mass with the Holy Father and
can be obtained,
along with the program, through theYear of Faith website. I have
included the
general program below.
Complete with the proclamation of the Creed at the tomb of St
Peter and a
candle-light procession, individuals and groups will find
different significant events
according to each language group.

left side of St. Peters Square
9:30Catechesis on Evangelium Vitae for Diverse Language
GroupsEach willconclude with Holy Mass in various locations around
the City
Afternoon
3:00-6:00Eucharistic Adoration and the Sacrament of
PenanceCertain churches close to St. Peters will welcome pilgrims
for Eucharistic Adorationand the celebration of the Sacrament of
Penance.
Evening
8:30Candlelight Procession and Prayer VigilThe procession down
Via della Conciliazione to Piazza Pio XII.
