The town of Bled has been known for over 1000 years. It is a breath-taking place that lies in the middle of the Julian Alps. The drive from Ljubljana will take about an hour, and then we will board the pletna boat and explore the island with its magical bell of wishes. The castle of Bled, our next stop, has numerous collections, from the old fashioned printing press, chapel to tiny wine cellar and fascinating museum. With the stunning views of the area we will finish with our tour and head back to Ljubljana.

FASCINATING UNDERGROUND

This half day tour will take us into intriguing underground world of Postojna cave. Postojna cave is one of the biggest underground formations in the world and a number one sight in Slovenia. It was discovered in the early 19th century. We will explore the numerous stalagmites and stalactites, see the Giant and the Brilliant, get to know the human fish and ride a small train through the cave.

You will be taken in the heart of the mountains over highest Slovenian mountain pass Vršič and into the most beautiful valley of the river Soča. Julian Alps is part of the only Slovenian national park, Triglav National Park. You will admire its wonders on the way and you will visit the museum where you will get to know with the cultural and natural heritage of the National Park. In the small town of Bovec, winter and summer tourist resort you will have lunch break and then you will ascend the Predil mountain pass, where you will cross the border with Italy and before returning to your resort there will be a stop at italian lake of Lago del Predil.Price:50 EUR per person

SLOVENIAN COASTLINE


Come with us on a all day tour of Slovenian short, but interesting coastline. Join us for a visit of Hrastovlje, the Mediterranean village in the municipality of Koper, in the northwest of the Slovenian Istria under the Karst edge. The village is internationally known for its frescoes of the local church, named Dance of Death. Explore the town of Koper and its charming streets. Head towards Portorož and board the boat to visit the salt pans and see how salt is being made. Meander through streets of cute, little Piran, the town that holds the nickname of »Slovenian Venice«. Our tummies will be filled with a traditional lunch at one of the local restaurants. Return to Ljubljana.

KROPA & RADOVLJICA

Kropa is an old iron-forging place, where hundreds of types of spikes were handmade for centuries until the new technology was introduced. The little town kept its original apperance and you will be able to visit the small museum showing the very particular nail production and the way of life in the past. From Kropa the journey continues to the medival town of Radovljica. Most of the houses of the old town were decorated with frescoes. The rococo-style manor houses one of the most interesting museums of the country, the Museum of Apiculture with its unique collection of the painted front panels of bee-hives.Price: 45 EUR per person

ŠKOFJA LOKA & IDRIJA


The old town of Škofja Loka celebrates its glorious existence already in 1973. You can walk through the romantic old town. The road continues through the green valley of Poljanska dolina until you reach the old mining town of Idrija, where mercury was produced until recently. The technical museum has a fantastic display of the history of producing »quick silver«.You will be able to watch the local women making their famous bobbin lace, and then enjoy beautifully prepared food in one of the nicest restaurants of the country, The Kendov dvorec mansion.
