EUROPEAN PASSPORT: CYPRUS CITIZENSHIP CONDITIONS UPDATE

competitor offering Cyprus citizenship services. Unfortunately
in this email my competitor referred to the conditions
applicable to Cyprus citizenship last year. So today I will set
the
record straight and give you the applicable investment
conditions to obtain Cyprus citizenship. Do not hesitate to

Benefits of Cyprus passport
To establish the worth of a passport one first check the numbers
of other countries to which visa-free access is
possible. Cyprus passport is ranking no 14 and grant its holder
the access to 157 countries without the need to apply
for a visa prior to travel. So overall Cyprus passport is quite
good.
The second advantages of Cyprus citizenship is that there is not
one country which has a swifter application process
than Cyprus where citizenship can be granted in 3 months.
Investment Requirement
There are several investment options
1. Investment in State Bonds of at least 5,000,000 Euros
2. Investment in in financial assets of Cyprus companies for at
least 5,000,000 Euros
3. Investment in real estate land development and infrastructure
project of at least 5,000,000 Euros
4. Investment of at least 5,000,000 Euros in a Cypriot company
that employs at least 5 Cyprus citizens (either by
purchasing or setting up a new company)
5. Deposit of at least 5,000,000 Euros in a fix terms 3 years
deposit in a Cypriot bank
If the amount to be invested is to high for your budget then we
would recommend you Bulgaria that only
requires 1,000,000 Euros investment on a 5 years period
Remarks
A combination of Investments 1 to 5 is possible if the total
amount invested is equal to at least 5,000,000 Euros Applicants
must also purchase a property as their residence for an amount of
at least 500,000 Euros. The
amount of 500,000 Euros or more depending of the price of the
property shall be deducted from the amount of
the investment
Investment need to be maintained for at least 3 years
minimum.
