The design of our sponsorship prospectus recognises the importance of all our sponsors maximising their investments, so we have established a flexible approach to help meet the objectives of your marketing goals.

With your total amount of sponsorship and/or workshops, you will qualify for a tiered level of extra benefits that can help increase your brand exposure; not only to our conference attendees but also the wider microscopical community. As explained previously, depending on your level of support, you will be classified under one of the five sponsorship levels:

Individual SponsorOur objective is to promote inclusivity for all exhibiting companies, and to provide options for any budget. Opportunities for less than €2,000 include; webpage sponsorship, Congress App notifications, a chance to publish an article in the emc2020 e-Newsletter, and a half-page advert in the congress programme. Individual sponsors also benefit from a featured profile on the emc2020 website and will receive a post-event GDPR approved delegate list.

BronzeShould you book a total of €5,000+ in sponsorship and/or workshops, you will benefit from additional opportunities valued at €1,000, which will allow you to reach over 2,500 emc2020 attendees.

SilverWhen booking €10,000+ worth of sponsorship and/or workshops, you qualify for our Silver tier. The Silver tier benefits outlined in the chart below are valued at over €1,500 and are a great way to connect with the 2,500 event attendees.

Commercial Workshop PresentationsAt emc2020 companies are invited to give Lunchtime Commercial Workshops and afternoon Flash Presentation Commercial Workshops within the congress programme. Workshops will take place in five of the breakout lecture rooms located centrally within the exhibition hall.

What’s Included with Your Workshop Booking?• A breakout lecture theatre seating 250 – 400, with all

attendees welcome to join workshops• Audio-visual equipment and an assigned AV technician for

general assistance• Publication of the workshop abstract included in all delegate

packs and made available through the congress app• Online recognition on the emc2020 Workshop webpage,

with workshop titles and timings, available to all attendees prior to the event

What are the General Workshop Guidelines?• Companies presenting workshops accept any financial

responsibility for the costs associated with their workshop(s)• Set up and dismantling must take place within the timeslot

Lunchtime Commercial WorkshopsWorkshops will be held over the lunchtime periods, Monday through Friday. This will be an excellent opportunity to promote new products or company updates!Packed lunches for attendees can be ordered at an additional cost.Duration: 45 minutesCost: €5,000** Please note all Tuesday lunchtime workshops have been sold.

Flash Presentation WorkshopsWorkshops will be held following afternoon conference session periods during the poster sessions, Monday through Thursday. These workshops are a great opportunity to engage with attendees for a brief session showcasing your company’s latest innovations and scientific content.Duration: 20 minutesCost: €2,500 When booking, please indicate the topic of the session and the suggested speakers, for approval. We ask that you also note your date preference and what kind of workshop you would like to host, Lunchtime or Flash Presentation.

Sponsorship Opportunities (cont.)

1. ContractThe booking company shall accept the Terms and Conditions upon submitting their booking form to the PCO.Following acceptance of the booking form, a contract will be sent to the booking company, which will outline in greater detail what is included with the sponsorship package selected.Specifications of artwork sizes and materials will be given to companies. Due dates for materials and shipping instructions will be included in the contract.

2. Terms of PaymentThe booking company will pay the invoice in full within 30 days of the invoice being issued. The PCO reserves the right to release any bookings thereafter should the invoice not be paid in full.

3.
