Status of interest of other countries• Poland

– Interest to join but could not make it for this meeting• Norway

– Interest to join but could not make it for this meeting• Ireland

– Air leakage testing is now mandatory but not always done because of a lack of control– But not always done and if so not necessarily in a proper manner

• 5 or 6 busy doing tests regularly (1-2 a week), serious professionals that are trained• 20 not so busy (1-2 a month)

– Influence standards at national or EU level rather than waiting as tests are mandatory– Maximum q50 of 10m3/h/m² to become 5m3/h/m² (for some kind of building) at the end of 2013

• Italy ?• Estonia

– Small country 1.4 million– About 20 testing companies, 10 measure actively, no real communication between them (no association)– Testing is not mandatory, you can have credit for better airtightness provided that you prove it by a

measurement– Default value is q50 of 6 m3/h/m² for detached houses, other buildings 3m3/h/m²– For major renovation the default value is 9 and 6m3/h/m²
