Grayson Masefield We welcome this dynamic power trio, which was founded in 1994 by Hans (John) Kolbrich, & Milan Dvorecky. They cover a wide variety of music from old German Polkas and sing-a-longs, to current Country music. Accordion, Trumpet, Guitar, Violin, Drums and plenty of vocal harmonies can be heard from the group, with a strong groove and passion for what they do!
The Band has evolved into a nationally acclaimed group with a strong following of fans ages 5-95. The Europa Band has a very active performing schedule of over 60 performances a year. Their motto is “Polka Lives”. Those who love polkas, young or old, will love the sound of the Accordion, Violin and The Europa Band's eclectic collection of over 350 songs
The Group has released a total of 4 CD's to show their diversity and wide range of musical styles. We look forward to Europa gracing the stage for our Wednesday concert including dancing.

Happiness comes in many forms but none is sweeter than the happy joyful sound of Riders in The Sky. The group consists of guitarist Ranger Doug (Governor of the Great State of Rhythm), upright "bunkhouse" bassist Too Slim (easily the sharpest wit in the West), Woody Paul (King of the Cowboy Fiddlers), who sings lead and tenor vocals, and accordionist Joey Miskulin (the Cow-Polka King), who plays both ends against the middle" as they say, on his "stomach Steinway."
Riders in the Sky is an American Western Music and comedy group. Riders has won two Grammy Awards for their outstanding achievement in music. Many of you may have heard them without even knowing it! They have composed and performed music for several major motion pictures including Woody’s Roundup, (see page 6)

Virtuoso – Entertainer – World Champion!
For Grayson, we could say, the accordion is in his genes. Grayson was born September 10, 1987 to two accordion-playing parents. Now what chance do you think this child would have of NOT playing the accordion? Grayson Masefield actually began playing the accordion at the tender age of three. Besides having two accordion-teaching parents, he grew up playing in the North Shore Accordion Orchestra and went on to begin his classical training at Auckland University and then on to France with the famous Frédéric Deschamps.
Grayson, in 2009, became the first person ever to win the prestigious Coupe Mondiale Virtuoso Classical and the Coupe MondialeVirtuoso Entertainment awards in the same year back to back. Grayson had become a sought-after musician and has performed in many European countries including France, Spain, Germany, UK, Finland, Portugal, Slovakia, (See page 7)

February is here and life is looking up! I am doing very well and looking back I can hardly believe that the first Las Vegas International Accordion Convention was 16 years ago this August!! This year we are offering an incredible new lineup of talent and I do hope you will join us for this magical celebration of life!
Speaking of celebrating life, we have lots to celebrate this year in Las Vegas – and lots of old and new memories to share! You will undoubtedly find this year’s event filled with excitement. Awakening is a refreshing new release from duet accordionists Joan Cochran Sommers and Stas Venglevski (bayan) that will keep your head bobbing and toes tapping to wonderfully performed and executed original compositions.

Compare the true cost of attending any accordion hotel event in North America! Add up the following: event fees, travel costs, hotel rooms and meals - these total your true cost. Yes, many say our event fee seems high but remember it includes 7 wonderful meals and concerts for four phenomenal days plus over 40 workshops and after hours entertainment at Club Concerto!

We are most honored to have Mary Tokarski as our 2015 Honorary Director! Mary is a treasured performer, beloved instructor, author, and friend to all. Mary has set the bar high for decades. She performs both nationally and internationally as a soloist, with symphony orchestras, with string quartets and as a member of The 'K' Trio. Mary has released two solo CDs, “Music with Mary . . . with My Friends!” and “Music with Mary . . . for My Friends!” – both of which received international acclaim. Mary is also a published author and has done much to promote music in early childhood – carrying the accordion forward to new generations!

Department of Education's Early Childhood Development Program at Green Acres Elementary School.
Currently, Mary serves on the Board of Directors for The American Accordionists Association (AAA) and is a member of the Accordionists and Teachers Guild, International (ATG). A Club Concerto discovery, Luciano has graciously agreed to appear on stage. His classical education provided him with a solid musical foundation, which he relied upon to continue mastering the
instrument he clearly loves – the accordion.
Over the years, Luciano has had the opportunity to meet and maintain relationships with many of the greatest accordionists from around the world, and has had the privilege of sharing the stage with them on numerous occasions. He has recorded many collections of his

and Italy. He has also performed in Canada, the USA, Russia, Lithuania, Portugal, China, New Zealand, and Australia. Then in 2010 he won the Trophée Mondial Classique World Accordion Championships and has since retired from competitions. He has become a sought-after concert artist and presently continues his studies majoring in music at the HEMU - University of Music, Lausanne, Switzerland.
We are thrilled to have this young energetic world-class performer join us this year at our 16th Annual Convention. Grayson will surely astound you with his talent and musical entertaining prowess.
