The chassis of the new self-loading wagon is abolted frame construction
using 160x65x40x5 sectionsof fine-grained carbonsteel.JUMBO technology side wall panels � (0.75 mmthick) for higher stability. Additional rigidity isprovided by the closely-spaced side wall pillars �. Smooth, slightly sloping frontpanels ensure that all the forage is unloaded.Pöttinger provides a folding extension system for low clearances when drivinginto sheds. Hydraulic cylinders � are available on both sides so the extensionscan be raised and lowered automatically. The tailgate � is operated hydraulicallyas standard. A portioningsystem featuring fixedtelescopic struts is also available.To prevent forage loss,additional ropes � arespanned between theslats. The wagon can beloaded really tight thanksto a tarpaulin � over therear end of the loading chamber.

A key quality feature is theimpact-resistant CIP
powder coated finish.
Powder-coated paintworkhas proven flexibility anddurability in the field.Surfaces can be machinedwithout the paint chippingoff – true automotive quality in agricultural engineering.

The scraper floor is operated hydraulically as standard. The pressure impregnated scraper floor isequipped with single-piece scraper bars .
EUROBOSS loaders are fitted with15.0/55-17 10 PR tyres. Various sizesof flotation tyre can also be fittedto provide the ground with moreprotection.
The axles are designed for speeds of40 km/h. Tandem axles with spring
suspension are also available for both high- and low-loader versions.
A wide track width � is especially advantageous forworking on slopes. On the low-loader version thesingle axle has a track width of 2020 mm; the tandem axle 2130 mm.
An inertia brake is supplied as standard equipment.Overrunning brakes and hydraulic or pneumatic bra-kes are also available.

Tempered transfer
plates:
provide dynamic separa-tion of dirt and forage.
With its working width of 1.8 metres this wagon isalso suitable for large swaths. The tines are mounted on five tine tubes. The centrally-positioned support discs � provide the tine tubes with sufficient stability. A tine spacing of just 57 mm ensures that the forage is picked upreliably. The optimized, trailed tine control system minimises losses due todisintegration.Perfect ground hugging
This ground hugging pickup really protects the swath. The EUROBOSS featuresheight-adjustable jockey wheels � at both ends at exactly the point the tinescontact the forage (tandem jockey wheels also available). Two jointed support
arms � ensure the pickup has complete freedom of movement. Springs �alleviate the pickup weight so less pressure is exerted on the ground. The pickupis lifted by hydraulic cylinders � at either end.

Cam rollers with twindeep-grooved ballbearings.

Drawbar and transmission
It has got to really shift.
Well-developed solutions
allow you to hitch up to the
tractor quickly and safely.
The transmission
components are often a
weak point. Not at
Pöttinger. The driveline is
protected to a high torque
and has been tested at high
working stresses in the
new Pöttinger testing cen-
tre.
The height of the universal drawbar can be adjusted using two spindles. A hinged drawbar is also available. Automatic interlocks prevent the hinged drawbar from lowering while it is being unhitched. It is also not possible for thedrawbar to raise of its own accord in the clamp.The drawbar can bear a load of 900 kg.
Continuous loading is possible, even during really tight cornering, thanks to thewide-angle PTO shaft. A cam-type clutch protects the driveline against over-loading. When activated the clutch disengages immediately. After the PTO speedhas been lowered again, the clutch engages to transmit the original level ofpower.

Each feeding tine bar is controlled by a cam track at either end of the rotorshaft. The conveyor combs are mounted on hardened rings and wear-resistantplain bearings �. The cam tracks are also hardened to withstand extreme stres-ses.When the pickup is raised the loading rotor is switched off automatically by adog coupling.

Clever farming.
The feed rotor is fitted with 3 split, off-set feeding tine bars �. Only very smallforage batches are fed into the knives as a result: a twelve-phase chopping sequ-ence. Smooth-running loading and high quality forage is the result.Four banks of feeding tine bars can also be supplied for even higher productivity.

The dual-row knife bank is fitted with 16 knives in the top row and 15 knives inthe lower row. The dual row arrangement spreads the power required over twophases so overall power consumption is lower. A preselect switch on the controlpanel lets you pivot the chopping system in and out hydraulically (available asoption). Standard models feature manual pivoting using a lever.
Each individual knife is protected. If it comes into contact with a foreign object atrigger roll on the back of the knife bladeis released from its holder and allowsthe knife to move clear (13 cm of movement). After the object has passedthrough the chopping system, a springpivots the knife back into its originalposition.The knives are spaced at 43 mm
intervals to deliver silage with an opti-mum structure for rumination. Excellentchop quality in this class of loaderwagons.

as standard. The tailgate is operated con-veniently from the tract-or seat using a powerfulhydraulic cylinder. A hydrauliccheck valve locks it inplace. No latch and pinsystem required.
