Por el presente documento, nos gustaría remitirle una detallada relación de los servicios
que Hermanos Alfaro ofrece.
Desde su creación en 1980, Hermanos Alfaro ha ido evolucionando paso a paso.
Partiendo de un pequeño taller de mecanizados familiar, ha llegado a convertirse en una
empresa reconocida a nivel mundial en los mecanizados y rectificados in situ para la
industria naval, offshore y eólica.
Los servicios están representados por la excelencia en términos de calidad, certificada
por la normativa ISO-9001. Al mismo tiempo, la empresa se preocupa por el cuidado del
medio ambiente, ISO-14001. Así como, por la gestión de la seguridad y salud en el
puesto de trabajo, OHSAS-18001.
La empresa cuenta con un taller de 2.000 m2 que permite fabricar nueva maquinaria, así
como adaptar la existente para realizar cualquier tipo de trabajo de mecanizados y
rectificados in situ. Todo ello, en un corto plazo de tiempo, permitiendo a la empresa
desplazarse a cualquier lugar del mundo.

offers.
Since its establishment in 1980, Hermanos Alfaro has evolved step by step. Beginning as a family
owned small workshop, has become an internationally renowned company in on-site machining
and grinding for maritime, offshore and wind industries.
The services are represented by the excellence of their quality, certified by ISO-9001. At the same
time, the company makes awareness of the environmental factors, ISO-14001. As well as, it
accomplished a management for security and health at work, OHSAS-18001.
The company owns a 2.000m2 workshop that allows to develop new machinery, as well as tailored
the actual machinery for any kind of work about on-site machining and grinding. All of that, in a
short-term, leads to the company to displace world-wide.

Servicio en el que cuenta con una experiencia
de más de 35 años, lo que le permite
garantizarle sus trabajos.
El empleo de la maquinaria apropiada
(utilización de útiles a medida para cada
trabajo concreto, en lugar de maquinaria
convencional más versátil pero menos
precisa) y un equipo profesional
especializado hacen posible solucionar
cualquier contingencia en el mismo
emplazamiento donde se produce la avería,
eliminando los costes de desmontaje y los de
transporte.
La calidad de los trabajos, la rapidez de
respuesta y la adaptación a las necesidades
del cliente son su seña de identidad. Sus
trabajos hablan por sí solos de su capacidad.

Hermanos Alfaro has specialized in on site
Machining and Grinding. Services in what
they have experience for more than 35 years,
which allows the company to guarantee their
works.
The use of appropriate machinery (use of tailored
tools to each specific job, rather than conventional
machines more versatile but less accurate) and a
specialized professional team make possible to
solve any contingency on-site, where the
breakdown happens, eliminating the costs of
dismantling and transportation.

A lo largo de estos años, se han realizado
diversos trabajos In Situ, en Buques y Submarinos en construcción, para los
astilleros más importantes del mundo, así
como mecanizados en buques en muelle para
reparación o incluso en travesía. Algunos
trabajos realizados hasta el momento a bordo
de buques son:
Mecanizado de alojamientos para sistemas
de propulsión acimutales y de hélices
verticales (Aquamaster, Schottel, Lips,
Voith Schneider) de hasta 4,5 metros de
diámetro.
Rectificado de asientos de cierre en
hélices de popa.
Mecanizado y refrentado de bocina de ejes
de cola en cierres de proa y popa,
incluyendo taladrado. Nos adaptamos a
cualquier diámetro.
Mecanizado de arbotantes de ejes de cola
de estribor y babor.
Mecanizado: refrentado y taladrado de
polines y bridas. Circulares de hasta 6
metros de diámetro y rectangulares sin
límite de dimensiones.
Over the years, many services have been
accomplished on site, in vessels and submarines under construction, for the most
important shipyards in the world, as well as
machining in vessels in dock for repair or even on
transit. Some of the works that have been carried
out on board since today are:
• Machining of housing for azimuth thruster
systems and vertical propellers (Aquamaster,
Schottel, Lips, Voith Schneider) up to 4.5 meters in
diameter.
• Grinding of seal housing in stern propellers.
• Machining and facing of tail shaft stern tube in
forward and after seals, including drilling. There is
the possibility to adapt to any diameter.
• Machining of tail shaft on port and starboard.
• Machining, facing and drilling of foundation and
flanges. Circular up to 6 meters of diameter and
rectangular unlimited measurements

Trabajos In Situ realizados sobre Motores
tanto Marinos como de Cogeneración:
Planificado In Situ de bloques motor,
incluyendo procesos de recuperación
mediante soldadura.
Rectificado de asiento de camisa de hasta
un metro de diámetro en su parte superior
e inferior.
Mandrinado de alojamientos de bancada.
Rectificado y pulido de muñequillas de
cigüeñal.
Mecanizado en asiento de apoyos de eje de
levas.
Refrentado de volantes de motor.
Se ofrece al cliente una gestión global, desde
el asesoramiento técnico en el diseño hasta el
desarrollo de la reparación.
On-Site services done under both Marine and Cogeneration Motors:
• On-Site millings for engine blocks, including the
recovery process by welding.
• Grinding of liner seat up to one meter in
diameter at its top and bottom part.
• Boring of engine bed housing.
• Grinding and polishing of crankpins.
• Machining of seat camshaft supports.
• Facing of flywheel.
It is offered to the client a global management,
from technical support on designing to the
development of the repair.

Los defectos de fabricación en los diferentes
tramos de una Torre Eólica pueden
provocar que no sea posible su ensamblaje.
Hermanos Alfaro lleva años realizando
trabajos de reparación mediante el
mecanizado In situ de las mismas.
Mecanizados realizados tanto en las plantas
de producción del cliente como en los
parques eólicos.
Trabajando para los fabricantes más
importantes del mundo: Vestas, Suzlon, etc.
Entre los trabajos más importantes
realizados hasta el momento podemos
destacar:
Refrentado de asiento de bridas hasta
diámetros máximos de 4,5 metros.
Mecanizado plano y en ángulo de las
bridas.
Taladrado y roscado de las bridas.
Manufacturing defects in the different sections of a
Wind Turbine could cause that the assembly
were not possible. Hermanos Alfaro has been
working for many years on repairing tower winds
by doing on-site machining. This service could be
carried out whether in the facilities of the client or
in the wind farm.

Among the most important works done so far, it is
highlighted:
• Facing of flanges seat up to 4,5 meters diameters
• Milling and chamfer of the flanges.
• Drilling and threading of the flanges.

Otros trabajos realizados por la empresa
a lo largo de estos 35 años son:
Planificado y rectificado de mesas de más
4x4 metros de dimensión. Podemos
adaptar este sistema y realizar
mecanizados en mesas hasta 5 y 6 veces
mayores.
Recuperación de chaveteros: recargue con
soldadura y fresado In Situ.
Recuperación de ejes y chumaceras.
Recargue, torneado y rectificado orbital
del mismo.
Refrentado y taladrado en estructuras de
grandes dimensiones, de hasta 6,8 metros
de diámetro. Actualmente estamos
desarrollando un nuevo dispositivo que
nos permitirá realizar mecanizados de
más de 10 metros de diámetro.
Rectificados de aros de rodadura y
cilindros de grandes dimensiones en su
diámetro interior y exterior.
Other Works accomplished by the company
over these 35 years are:
• Flatness and grinding tables over 4x4 meters of
measurements. There is the possibility to adapt
this system to do on-site machining in tables up to
5 or 6 times larger.
• Recovery of keyways: on-site milling and welding
recharge.
• Recovery of shafts and bearings. Orbital
recharge, milling and grinding of them.
• Facing and drilling in large structures, up to 6.8
meters of diameter. Currently developing a new
device that will allow the company to do on-site
machining over 10 meters in diameter.
• Grinding rolling rings and large cylinders in
their inner and outer diameter.

El Control de Calidad es parte
fundamental del proceso productivo, por ello,
dispone de todos los medios necesarios para
la comprobación de los trabajos.
El departamento de calidad garantiza el
control de los diversos procesos productivos.
La empresa está certificada en calidad ISO
9001, gestión medioambiental ISO14001 y
gestión de seguridad y salud en el trabajo
OHSAS18001.
Los trabajos realizan diferentes procesos de
Comprobación y Verificación con
dispositivos Láser y Ópticos de última
generación. Como:
Alineado de bocinas y líneas de ejes.
Verificación de concentricidad de bocinas
y líneas.
Verificación de inclinación de bridas y
ejes.
Control de planitud de bridas y otros
elementos, con precisiones menores a
0,02 mm/m y rango de medición hasta 20
metros de radio.
Quality Control is a basic part of the
production process; therefore the company has all
the necessary means to verify the result of the
work.
The quality department assures the control of the
different production processes. The company is
certified on quality ISO-9001, environmental
awareness ISO-14001 and management of
security and health at work OHSAS-18001
Works are checked and verified by laser and optical devices of last generation:
• Aligned horns and stern.
• Check concentricity of speakers and lines.
• Verification of inclination of flanges and shafts.
• Control of flatness for flanges and many other
elements, with a lower precision of 0.02 mm/m
measuring and range up to 20 meters radius.

Un aspecto diferenciado de la empresa es que
cuenta con el respaldo de un Taller de Mecanizado propio, lo que les permite
reducir el tiempo de respuesta ante cualquier
imprevisto.
En asociación con el taller, es posible realizar
en la empresa o In Situ reparaciones de
soldadura especializadas de maquinaria y
equipo, incluidas soldaduras Mig, Tig,
recargues especiales, etc. Así mismo, es
posible realizar reparaciones mediante
ingeniería inversa. Esto supone la fabricación
e instalación de nuevas piezas cuando los
repuestos originales ya no están disponibles,
cumpliendo siempre los requisitos y
especificaciones particulares de los clientes.
En el taller se fabrican piezas para cualquier
sector y actividad industrial. Mecanizados
bajo plano y según muestra, tanto de piezas
unitarias o prototipos, como series cortas y
medias en todo tipo de materiales
cumpliendo con todas las especificaciones de
calidad requeridas por el cliente. Un personal
altamente cualificado y los equipos más
avanzado del mercado (Centros de Torneado,
Centros de Mecanizado de 5 ejes, CAD-CAM,
etc.) hacen que todo ello sea posible.
A distinguished aspect of the business is that it is
supported by an own Workshop. This fact
allows the company to reduce the response time to
any request.
Supporting the workshop services, it is possible to
carry out especial welding for machinery and
equipment, including MIG, TIG, especial recharges,
etc., whether in the workshop facilities or on-site.
Likewise, it is possible to develop repair through
by reverse engineering, this means that it is
necessary to manufacture and install spare parts
that meets the customer needs.
At the workshop it is also possible to manufacture
pieces for any industrial sector and activity.
Machining under drawing and sample for unitary
pieces or prototypes. As well as, short and medium
series of any kind of materials. All of them meet
the requests of quality from the customers. Highly
qualified workers and the most modern means of
the market (Turning Centers, Machining Centers 5
Axis, CAD-CAM, etc.) made that possible.
