Run-Flat Performance

Today's bigger 4 wheelers and Utility Vehicles re-quire tires that carry more load and resist punc-tures better. Typical ATV tires are low pressure balloon tires with soft sidewalls for comfortable rid-ing. They need to be overinflated, aren't stable on side hills, and are more vulnerable to puncture with heavy weight loads. We have designed tires espe-cially for these increased loads. Essex 25” & 27” SureFoot Tires (589MT Tread) This 6-ply tire has been designed and tested for heavy utility vehi-cles (25” recommended for ATV’s) like the Kawasaki Mule, Ku-bota RTV900, and others. It features Kevlar Belting, Puncture Resistance, tough “Stubbleguard” Rubber, Reinforced Sidewalls, Run-Flat Performance, a load rating of 1190 pounds (1125 lbs for the 25”), and 1 1/8” lugs that eat up terrain, but run fairly smoothly on hard surfaces. Not recommended for extensive use on pave-ment or in powder sand conditions. Essex Lift Kit included, spec-ify if you have extra weight on your vehicle from a cab, plow, etc.

Essex 26” SureFoot Tires (489XT Tread) For general use with mixed on and off-road travel, choose our 26” SureFoot Tire. This 6-ply 26-10-12 tire mounted on all four wheels is patterned after the popular 489XT tread style with it’s medium sized 5/8” lugs. Like the 27”, it features Kevlar Belting, Puncture Resistance, tough “Stubbleguard” Rubber, Reinforced Sidewalls, and Run-Flat Performance. This tire offers a load rat-ing of 1150 pounds, a smooth ride, and medium traction perform-ance. Essex Lift Kit included, specify if you have extra weight on your vehicle from a cab, plow, etc.

Titan Multitrac Tires The 26-12-12 Multitrac on front & rear is our preferred 6-ply commer-cial Turf tire that provides an excel-lent ride. It’s comfortable and long-lasting, is more stable than the hard surface Radial Tire, and has a lighter footprint on turf, it’s the best solution for street and turf use.

Essex 25” SureFoot Tires (589MT Tread) Essex has now developed 25” SureFoot Tires that fit on OEM 12” wheels in order to offer the SureFoot Technology to a wider range of vehicle users. It’s a lighter tire that offers the same great features as the 27” (with an 1125lb load rating), but are best suited to ATV’s, Mini-Trucks, Side X Sides, and other less load bearing applications.

Essex Lift Kit With over 10 years and 12,000 proven Lift Kits, Essex has set the standard in UTV suspension enhancement. Essex’s 40-90% stronger Replacement Springs keep the nose of your vehicle up and improves the ride and handling. Together the Springs, Lift Blocks, and extended Rear Shack-les provide 2 inches of additional clearance and accommodates oversize tires. The easy to install kit retains the full movement of the strut and does not alter the camber angle. Depending on your situation and vehicle, our Lift Kit may or may not be required.

Steel Belted Radial Tire Kit As an alternative to our Multitrac, This high mileage street tire kit is mounted on 14” steel rims. We use 195-65-14 All Season Radials, 4-ply rated. The 8” wide tire offers long wear life. It’s a good economi-cal choice for pavement use.
