Awards Horizon Act of the Year 2011, and of Oxfordshire-based blues/jazz/funk/reggae/ska band Bare Bones.

Was double bassist and bass guitarist of Oxfordshire-based blues band Mojo Bones. From Summer 1999 to October 2001 was principal double bassist of the National Musicians Symphony Orchestra (NMSO) (Conductor: James Blair). Concert venues include: Royal Festival Hall, London; Barbican Centre, London; Symphony Hall, Birmingham; Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool; Leeds Town Hall; and The Corn Exchange, Cambridge.

Since Summer 1999 has been a regular pro-visitor with the Jersey Symphony Orchestra, playing in up to

three gala concerts a year by invitation (Conductor: Phillip Ellis).

In 1991, co-founded the Dean Close Jazz Band, playing as double bassist/bass guitarist for the next 5 years.

Between 1991 and 1996 was double bassist with the Hewlett Trio, performing jazz standards.October 2000-April 2002:Appointed double bass and bass guitar teacher at The Music Practice, Abingdon (25 Bridge Street,

Abingdon OX14 3HN). Teaching began in January 2001
