The sentence beginning "Unroofing rates greater than . . . ," p. 1000, left column, 11 lines down, is ambigu- ous and should be replaced with the following:
"If the epidote and omphacite zone rocks were at their peak temperatures at the same time and commenced cooling, they would cool to 350°C at the same time only if the cooling rate for the omphacite zone rocks was much faster. For example, if the epidote zone rocks were unroofed at a rate of 2 mm . a-l, the omphacite zone rocks would have to be unroofed at 10 mm . a- I."
