-Auto Installation-

The Purpose of This Guide:

This document describes the procedure for the initial login upon receiving an invitation

email from tsCollaboration (eRoom).

Requirements of the Client PCs for Plug-in Upgrade:

1. OS Requirements

Microsoft Windows 7 SP1 (32bit, 64bit)

Microsoft Windows 8 and 8.1 (32bit, 64bit)

Microsoft Windows 10 (32bit, 64bit)

Apple Macintosh 10.9, 10.10

※In the case of Apple Macintosh 10.9 and 10.10, eRoom plug-in is not available.

2. Browser Requirements(*1)

Microsoft Internet Explorer 10.0, 11.0(*2)

Mozilla Firefox 38.0.x(*3)

Google Chrome(*4)

Apple Safari 7.x, 8.x

*1 In addition to the 32bit version of the web browsers, the 64bit version is also

supported.

*2 "Compatibility View Settings" are required to use the eRoom plug-in with IE11.

1. If You Do Not Want to Use the eRoom Plug-ins

If your browser is not Internet Explorer 11, see “3. The Connection from

eRoomURL in the Invitation to tsCollaboration Site.”

1.1. Add the tsCollaboration Site to the Trusted Site Zone (IE11 only)

If your browser is Internet Explorer 11, add tsCollaboration Site to trusted site zone.

Refer to the website below or the following section for the detailed procedure.

Procedure to Add the tsCollaboration Site to the Trusted Site Zone

(1) On Internet Explorer, click “Tools” > “Internet Options.”

*2: If the process does not continue even with the permissions for add-ons, close the

browser window and follow the manual “2 tsCollaboration eRoom Plug-in Installation

Guide v4.0 Manual Installation.” Then move on to the chapter “3. The connection from

eRoomURL in the invitation to tsCollaboration site.”

*3: In some cases, it might say, “initial settings” or “initial password settings” instead of

“eRoom URL.”

(2) Select “Trusted sites” on the “Security” tab, and click “Sites”.

(3) Enter [https://*.eroom-net.com] in the “Add this website to the zone” box and click

“Add”.

(4) The tsCollaboration site [https://*.eroom-net.com] was added to the “trusted site”.

(5) Please go to “3. The Connection from eRoomURL in the Invitation to

tsCollaboration Site”

2. If You Want to Use the eRoom Plug-ins

If you wish to upload/download files to/from eRoom by drag-and-drop, you need to

install eRoom plug-in software for Internet Explorer on your PC.

* If you do not intend to upload/download files by drag-and-drop, you do not need to

install plug-ins. In this case, you can upload and download files using the menu

buttons on the screen and you still can use tsCollaboration without problem.

[Caution on Plug-in Installation]

1. If your OS user account is Standard, ask your IT division to grant you

Administrator privilege for this installation.

2. In order to use eRoom plug-ins, you need to add the tsCollaboration site

(https://*.eroom-net.com) to the trusted site zone in advance.

2.1. Add the tsCollaboration Site to the Trusted Site Zone

Refer to the website below or the following section for the detailed procedure of adding

sites to the trusted site zone.

2.2. Add the tsCollaboration Site to the Compatibility View Settings (IE11 only)

If your browser is Internet Explorer 11, please use it in compatibility mode. To turn on

Compatibily View for tsCollaboration in Internet Explorer 11, please follow the steps

below.

Procedure to Add the tsCollaboration Site to the Compatibility View

Settings

(1) On Internet Explorer, click “Tools” > “Compatibility View Settings.”

(2) Enter eroom-net.com in the “Add this website” box and click “Add.”

(3) The tsCollaboration site was added to the Compatibility View Settings.

2.3. Access to tsCollaboration

Access tsCollaboration (https://www.eroom-net.com/eRoom/), and the following page

appears. Select “eRoom plug-in software” and click “OK.”

* Some browsers may not display the “Software Options” page. In that case, you cannot

use eRoom plug-ins. Move on to the procedure in “3. The Connection from eRoomURL

in the Invitation to tsCollaboration Site.”

2.4. Setup of eRoom Plug-ins

The “eRoom Plug-in Setup” page appears. Confirm that the icon below (in the red circle)

is moving.

2.5. Permission of the Add-on

(1) After a while, you will see the message below (in the red box). Click it.

(2) After you click the message, the sub menu appears. Select “Install This Add-on for

All Users on This Computer…”

2.6. Auto Installation of eRoom Plug-ins

(1) If the “User Account Control” window appears, click “Yes.”

Note) the following dialog windows (in the steps (2)-(8)) might be displayed (hidden)

behind the Internet Explorer window, depending on your environment. If you do not

see these dialog windows, minimize Internet Explorer and see if they are displayed

behind it.

(2) When the “Welcome to the eRoom plug-in installation” window appears, click

“Next.”

(3) On the “Destination Folder” window, click “Next.”

(4) When the “Ready to Install the Program” window appears, click “Install” to start

installing the program.

(5) Installation starts.

(6) The following dialog appears. Click “OK.”

(7) When the “InstallShield Wizart Completed” window appears, click “Finish.”

3. The Connection from eRoomURL in the Invitation to

tsCollaboration Site

(1) Single click* the long text string (URL) for the initial settings in the invitation

email to access tsCollaboration (https://www.eroom-net.com/eRoom/). (*Please DO

NOT double click the URL because it is for a single use only. If you double click it,

you may see a message, such as “it has expired” and not be able to log in properly.)

(2) Select “eRoom plug-in software” and click “OK.”

* Some browsers may not display the “Software Options” page. In that case, skip to

the next procedure.

4. Set New Password and Question

(1) Type the same password in the “New password” and the “Verify password” fields

on the “Set Password” page, and click “OK.” This brings you to the “Password

Recovery” page.

(2) Select a question in the “Question” field and type your own answer in the

“Answer” field on the “Password Recovery” page. Then click “OK.”

* This Q/A will be needed to reset your password by yourself when you forget it.

(3) Your eRoom top page is displayed. (The following image is an example.)

5. Start Using tsCollaboration

(1) Once you set the initial password and a question and answer, access

[https://www.eroom-net.com/eRoom/] from the next time.

(2) Type your user ID (Name) and password and click “OK” to log in. Your eRoom top

page is displayed.
