To whom it may concern, As an international performing artist, I have had the good fortune of staying at some of the worlds finest hotels and resorts, from Soneva Fushi in the Maldives islands to the St. Regis here in Doha, Qatar. As an entertainer for exclusive, high-end private events I am familiar with the demands of clientele who expect the utmost from a luxury experience. Here at the St. Regis I have encountered one employee, Ernest Nolte, who stands out in my mind as an exemplar of professional etiquette and attention to detail. From my first encounter with him at the start of my residency here, he took it upon himself to memorize my name and room number and to visit me to discuss my needs and concerns. He resolved several minor room issues and has continued to check in with me occasionally to make sure everything is alright, even though he is not my primary butler. I have seen him demonstrate this sort of passion for personalized attention with others on many occasions. Ernest is endlessly occupied with his work. If he has completed his immediate duties, he takes it upon himself to look into what else can be done, going above and beyond to engage with longer-term residents such as myself. This personal touch has lent a feeling of being at home to my stay here, which for a travelling entertainer is invaluable. Furthermore, Ernest is a talented pianist! His wonderful music can be heard resonating in the lobby, and I believe he brings the same artistry to all of his work. Where bureaucracy has stood in the way of getting things done (there was an electrical issue which engineering failed to address), Ernest knew who to approach to get the problem resolved. It is clear that he prioritizes guest satisfaction in every sense, and I truly believe if given the opportunity, Ernest would make an excellent manager at any world-class hotel. His experience and involvement both on the floor and behind the scenes here at St. Regis are essential to the smooth operation of this hotel. He has been of great help to me personally and others I have known here in Doha, and thus it is with my best wishes for his professional advancement that I recommend Ernest Nolte for any position he may seek. I believe he will approach every opportunity with the same unrelenting work ethic and outlook towards improving workplace efficiency and customer satisfaction. Sincerely, Adrian DiMatteo
