Document purpose
› These slides are a summary of Ericsson’s general packaging requirements. These requirements are found in full in 1056-CSX 101 58 Uen: “General Requirements for Packaging Material Design”.
› This document is intended to provide Ericsson suppliers with an overview of Ericsson’s packaging requirements for products delivered to Ericsson supply sites (“inbound packaging”).
› It aims to increase awareness of Ericsson’s requirements in order to improve packaging quality and minimize handling needed throughout the entire distribution chain and production process.
› These requirements are intended to ensure that products are protected in a cost-effective way throughout transport, handling and storage, and with minimal impact on the environment.
If you have any questions or need further information about these requirements, please contact: Packaging Material Development
