Description This course focuses on the Universal Signaling Point (USP). This WBL course provides the participant with a detailed description of the USP. The courses provide frame, shelf and card views of the USP as well as a description of the OA&M system used to perform OAM functions on the USP. This course focuses on the operations and maintenance of the Universal Signaling Point (USP). It examines the hardware characteristics related to fault management. It also looks at the USP Manager user interface and its functions and capabilities that relate to operations and maintenance tasks for the USP.
