Project Approach• Gathered Requirements by visiting with market

participants at their location.– Dedicated entire day to that MPs feedback– Met with both management and technical users– Documented all requirements received

• Built the requirements document based on requirements provided by the market participants

• Had day long meeting (10/2) with market participants to review requirements list and had the market confirm they were correct

– Met with MPs at their locations for more informed and specific requirements• Market priority session – 10/2/03

– Market participated in prioritizing the Quick Hit list for ERCOT’s initial release– 63% of requirements are quick hits which ERCOT plans to deliver in April, ’04– Highlights of the 61 requirements to be delivered:

• ESI ID status (In-Active, Active, De-Energized)• Pending Service Order (If there is a pending service order, type and effectuating date

will be provided)• Rep of Record Indicator (if you are the Rep of Record)• Wild Card search capability• Results download capability• Several cosmetic and ease of use changes• Multiple ESI ID search capability (both Find ESI ID and Find Transaction)• CSA Indicator (if you have an active CSA instance)• Ability to do Advanced searches based upon dates, original Tran_ids, BPI type,

Transaction type• Key dates of transactions (requested dates, scheduled dates)• ACCEPT or REJECT indicators for transaction business process state
