Scope of PR-50121_01: This project is the initial sub-project created under the 50121 parent project for Service Oriented Architecture. The scope was to purchase the TIBCO software, implement it in the Development environment, create the framework for the TIBCO environment, and deliver the strategy for replacing SeeBeyond with the TIBCO.

Features and Deliverables: Implemented a Development environment for TIBCO EAI development efforts;Purchased TIBCO software, training, and consulting;Installed TIBCO software in the Development environment;Provided initial training for ERCOT’s TIBCO development team;Completed the Enterprise Integrated Framework (EIF) activities with TIBCO. This activity identifies and documents ERCOT's EAI delivery methodology, infrastructure, and standards and policies for TIBCO deployments;Identified EAI replacement strategy and approach, to include analysis and recommendation for breakdown of work necessary to complete SeeBeyond replacement. This includes identification of sub-projects to 50121 to be chartered in support of the EAI replacement, as well as initial budget and timeline.

Current Activity This part of the overall project is completeWork will proceed on the other sub-projects under the PR-50121 parent project.
