Erasmus+ is a European Union program that pro-motes international cooperation in education. The Erasmus+ Student Mobility program enables and supports students to complete a part of their studies abroad in an Erasmus+ country.

Students at the University of Würzburg can receive an Erasmus+ internship scholarship in an Erasmus country at any time during their studies.

Scholarships are granted for both compulsory and voluntary internships in any of the 28 European Union countries, member countries of EFTA, as well as Macedonia and Turkey.

Students can complete an internship only, or com-bine an internship with an Erasmus-studyUp to 12 months (up to 24 months for state exami-nation students) of participation in an Erasmus+ program is possible during each degree program.

My 5-month internship abroad was an amazing time. I gained practical, working experience, got to know a new culture, significantly improved my

foreign language skills, and made many new con-tacts for my future career.
