Review

Our Mission

We provide a structured, achievement-based community that prepares students to graduate from four-year colleges and universities.

What We Value

Conditional Use Permit (CUP)

• A CUP provides permission from the City of Los Angeles to allow our building to be used as a school.

• The CUP affects Equitas as we must follow the 59 conditions to continue use our building.

• Without compliance, we lose our permission to use the building as a school and must move to another location.

Process for Conditional Use Permit• Community members were concerned about a

new school in the area so they asked for conditions to be placed on the school (safety, traffic, noise).

• Our parents were part of the process and agreed to the conditions as a way to have the community accept the building of the new school.

• We must follow the conditions or the school’s operation is in jeopardy.
