• CIDC-AUS Diploma Programme:

Notification for admission to the Diploma / Post Diploma Programmes in Construction & allied streams, being jointly offered by CIDC and Assam University, Silchar has been hosted on the website for 1301 batch and the admission process initiated.

• Signing of Memorandum of Understanding:

CIDC signed Memorandum of Understanding with Singhania University, Pacheri Bari (Distt. Jhujhunu, Rajasthan) to initiate Diploma and B Tech Programmes in Construction & allied streams of engineering.

• Felicitation of Dr. B D Mundhra, CMD, Simplex Infrastructure Ltd. CIDC organized a felicitation ceremony on 29th December, 2012 at its corporate office, Vishwakarma Pratham at Faridabad, at the occasion of Dr. Bithal Das Mundhra, Chairman of Simplex Infrastructures Limited being conferred with the Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) by Singhania University. The degree has been awarded in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the construction industry.

• Admission to Ph.D Programmes:

CIDC jointly with Mewar University, Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) and in association with IndSTT initiated the process for the admission to Ph.D Programme and M.Tech-Ph.D Integrated Programme for the Session 2013-14 in Construction Technology & Management and Trenchless Engineering. These programmes aim to produce highly skilled and innovative researchers and teachers in various aspects of construction engineering.

EPC World Awards 2012, held on 15th December 2012 at hotel The Ashok, New Delhi. Dr. B.D Mundhra, Chairman Simplex Infrastructure Limited has been conferred EPC World Awards 2012 under the category “Life Time Achievement Award 2012”, in the field of Human Resource Development for the Indian Construction & Infrastructure Industry.

Dr. P. R.
