Planning process yields tasks to improve the watershed.

Tasks may include projects on targeted tier-one properties.

Landowners work with Soil Conservation Commission and NRCS to develop One-Plan BMP strategies.

Development of implementation cost data.

BMPs usually ranked by cost and benefit.

WPGs can help find funding for BMP implementation using watershed financing techniques such as the Directory of Watershed Resources and other stakeholder methods. WPGs may also leverage funds for BMPs that increase water quality.
