Environmental issues are one of the primary causes of disease, health issues, economic problems, global warming, greenhouse effect, unexpected climate change, long-term livelihood impact for India.

The Government of India has put a lot emphasis and has made some of the fastest progress in addressing its environmental issues and improving its environmental quality through its flagship mission like Swatch Bharat Abhiyan, Clean Ganga Mission and launch of India’s first national air quality index.

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) would like to take this initiative to host CII Clean Tech Environment 2019 accelerating its leadership to address issues pertaining to secure and safeguard environment of tremendous magnitude.

The first edition of “CII Clean Tech Environment 2019” is scheduled to be held from 3-5 February 2019 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi concurrently with the CII flag ship event “International Engineering and Technology Fair” (IETF).

The first edition of CII Clean Tech Environment 2019 would be the global voice on the clean air, water & waste management and green energy that are challenges for the country. The event will provide an excellent opportunity for governments, private sector, civil society, not-for-profit entities international organizations to come together and explore sustainable alternatives, innovative products, latest technologies and transfer of technology.
