We have introduced new programs, transformed ourselves from a purely teaching to research institution, introduced case study method and experiential learning as new pedagogical tools, set up a centre for Entrepreneurial development, extended outreach to the community and businesses. In doing so we had to invest massively in infrastructure and ICT., recruit top quality faculty many of them either holding PhDs from best universities around the globe or in the process of pursuing PhD.

Our motto to prepare the leaders for tomorrow is practically translated through a holistic personality development of our students combining competencies with character and commitment. Master of Business Administration (MBA) (Morning Program)The MBA Morning Program is offered at the Main Campus. Specializations include Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management.

Masters of Business Administration (MBA) (Evening)The MBA Evening Program is offered at City and Main Campuses. Specialization includes Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Management. The duration of this program may vary depending on the capacity of the student to complete the course load during each semester.

MBA Executive This program has been designed for the mid-career professionals, executives, and managers, eager to upscale their knowledge and skills and move into leadership roles. It offers a Master Degree in Business Administration on a schedule that minimizes disruption of work and personal pursuits. The all-encompassing curriculum is develops the analytical and decision making skills of knowledge-seekers.This program is relevant for all those who are ready to do the hard work in seeking C- suite (CEO, CFO, COO etc.)

MS (Computer Science)The MS (Computer Science) program is meant for either recent graduates of Computer Science programs or for professionals in the IT industry who would like to further enhance their career. The program aims at preparing students for either a research-based career or for enhancing their technical knowledge and competence in specialized subjects. MS Program is offered as a full time morning program along with existing evening counterpart. The program is offered at the City Campus.

MS (Economics)The MS (Economics) program is designed to provide a solid background in theory, quantitative methods, and applications appropriate to the needs of economists involved in policy planning, analysis, and forecasting of public and private sectors. This program emphasizes on Applied Economics, and caters to the growing market for Economic Analysts. Options will be available to students to either to join the morning session or the evening session.

MS (Mathematics)This program is geared towards cutting edge research in modern, as well as contemporary areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics. It aims is to streamline and (academically) help raise individuals with successful careers in mathematics. The program targets students who have had graduate level training in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and AlliedSciences.

MS (Islamic Banking and Finance) The Islamic finance industry has seen a rapid local and international growth in the past decade, with over 2000 Islamic banking branches employing graduates and executives all over Pakistan. The market size of Islamic banking assets is currently 11.4% of the total banking assets of Pakistan, and is expected to reach 20% by 2020. Hence, there is an increasing demand of professionals who have expertise in Islamic Banking and Finance. Every year, approximately 2500 additional trained Islamic banking executives are needed to support this growth.

PhD (Economics)The PhD program in Economics provides graduate students an opportunity to make a contribution in the development and application of knowledge in Economics. It enables students to conduct quality research in their specialized fields. Students, after successfully completing their doctoral degree from the IBA, are prepared for careers in universities, business enterprises, national and foreign Banks, companies and government organizations. This is a full time morning program. IBA will offer Teaching / Research Fellowship to all students enrolled in the PhD program, for which they are paid a monthly stipend and tuition waiver.

PhD (Computer Science)The Faculty of Computer Science at the IBA is offering a full-time PhD program in Computer Science, with specialization in a variety of areas. Students may avail a full teaching assistantship which comprises of an attractive monthly stipend and a full tuition fee waiver. The program is offered primarily at the City Campus.

PhD (Mathematics)Extension in knowledge is the prime objective of all graduate research. This extension is applicable immediately and helps solve existing real world problems in most of the areas of studies. However, creation of new Mathematics provides mostly the framework for future applied research, and my not find immediate application. This is a full time morning program. IBA will offer Teaching/Research Fellowship to all students enrolled in the PhD program, for which they are paid a monthly stipend and tuition waiver.

Guidelines for Applicants

1) To apply please visit the IBA website (www.iba.edu.pk). Follow the online application process and obtain System Generated Application Number.

2) Deposit Application Processing Fee of Rs. 4,000 (non-refundable and non-transferable) in cash at any branch of Faysal Bank.

3) Admit Cards may be collected when announced both campuses of IBA from 09:00 am to 6:00 pm on any working day, by providing the following:

♦ System Generated Application Number♦ Application processing fee deposit slip duly signed by a bank officer

4) Appear in the test on the announced date. (SAT / GMAT score report(s) required for applicants exempted for the IBA Admission Test)

5) Bring the following documents (as applicable) along with attested copies at the time of your interview:

♦ Bachelor’s degree from HEC recognized institution.OR

♦ HSC complete result or HSC first year result (in case the HSC final exam has not been taken yet)♦ Matric or O' Level or American High School - 9th and 10th grade complete results;

OR♦ A' Level complete result or grades for any A' Level subject(s) completed or A' Level first year results (in case the A' Level final exam of three principal subjects has not been taken yet)
