Key usages Studio to Transmitter Link (STL)Because an STL cannot suffer any audio break, PYKO-out features three configurable decoding priorities, i.e. two backup levels, with automatic switching from one to another in case of audio loss/recovery. Should the ip audio streams disappear, PYKO-out still continues playing audio on its outputs thanks to the possibility to use a backup playlist on a local USB memory stick. On the studio side, PYKO-in encodes and streams the radio program in PCM, MPEG Layer 2 or Layer 3, in uni-cast, multicast, multi-unicast and multi-multicast (up to six destinations).

Encode and push an internet radio to a WEB streaming serverPYKO-in can alsobe used to encode an internet radio. This constitutes a low cost, yet reliable, hardware solution for streaming your radio program to a WEB streaming server, in Shoutcast / Icecast mp3.

Intercom over IPPYKO-in offers the possibility to configure it in full-duplex mono mode. By connecting a microphone to its left input (which features a mic preamp with switchable phantom power), PYKO-in allows to easily set up an intercom link over IP.
