Should the ip audio streams disappear, PYKO-out still continues playing audio on its outputs thanks to the possibility to use a backup playlist on a local USB memory stick. On the studio side, PYKO-in encodes and streams the radio program in PCM, MPEG Layer 2 or Layer 3, in uni- cast, multicast, multi-unicast and multi-multicast (up to six destinations). Encode and push an internet radio to a WEB streaming server PYKO-in can alsobe used to encode an internet radio. This constitutes a low cost, yet reliable, hardware solution for streaming your radio program to a WEB streaming server, in Shoutcast / Icecast mp3. Intercom over IP PYKO-in offers the possibility to configure it in full- duplex mono mode.
