Data Synchronization Throughout the SystemPlanning and optimization rely on data accuracy and availability

throughout the system in order to function. Varec’s fuels management systems provide secure, bidirectional synchronization

from the local level with the enterprise. Every site is mirrored at the enterprise, which allows master data management and

configuration at the enterprise, regional or site level and local site databases can be restored easily. Our systems model

provides local network performance for faster data entry and continuous operation, even when the connection to the

enterprise is temporarily unavailable.

Complete SecurityVarec software systems operate to the current U.S. DoD DIACAP security standards that meet or exceed the American Petroleum Institute (API) and the International Society of Automation (ISA) recommendations. We are also building Risk Management Framework (RMF) security compliance into the current version of FuelsManager deployed for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and all future software releases.

The Defence Logistics Agency (DLA) uses FuelsManager© Defense (FMD) across 772 DLA fuel supply points and bases worldwide. Approximately 3,500 users access a single surveillance solution for their entire fueling operation.

For the United Kingdom’s Ministry of Defense, Varec systems automate, control and measure bulk fuels at 9 military bases, including Brize Norton — the largest RAF Station in the UK and the nerve center of the RAF’s air transport capabilities.

FMD records transactions and transmits data to an enterprise application that supports logistics, financial accounting, purchasing, planning and reporting across 60 Australian Department of Defence fuel facilities.

The NATO Support and Procurement Agency integrates all data from Varec’s tactical fuels management system at over 100 fuel facilities to a central FMD enterprise server for total asset visibility.

For Service Providers, it is a complete fueling resource and transaction management solution.
