Meditation is a spiritual experience. Spirituality is about the relationship I have with myself, the world and with God. Meditation is about fi nding and living one’s own truth. It brings about a re-alignment of body, mind and heart. Only when these energies are in harmony can there be real peace and true healing.
Margaret Barron enjoys the practical
application of spiritual wisdom in everyday
life. She uses visualisation and analogy as
creative tools to connect the physical with the
spiritual. Margaret will be sharing from her own
understanding and experience the benefi ts of
meditation.
Michael Ryan lives and works locally and has
been studying and teaching meditation for
over 20 years. It is the freedom and creativity
which meditation brings that he enjoys and
fi nds most rewarding and will be sharing with
us this evening.

The Awakened Mind is a state that is clearer, sharper, quicker and more fl exible than ordinary states. It is often associated with the enlightenment of spiritual masters arising from time spent in seclusion, away from the world. This state, where one has a greater feeling of choice and freedom and where thinking feels fl uid rather than rigid, is much sought after in both East and West. Sister Jayanti will explore how we can develop light within our consciousness in the midst of day-to-day life.
Sister Jayanti travels
internationally as a
spiritual teacher, speaker
and broadcaster. She has
trained for more than 30
years with some of the
world’s most remarkable
yogis. As result, she
herself is an extraordinary meditator and teacher
and has developed a clarity and purity of mind
that is exceptional. Sister Jayanti is the European
Director of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual
University and assists in co-ordinating the
University’s activities in more than 80 countries

THE TRIUMPH OF TOLERANCE
True tolerance ought not to be confused with ‘putting up’ with things. It is more like a tree that naturally gives of itself in all situations and eventually wins the respect and love of even its most persistent enemies. How can we develop such strength?
Neville Hodgkinson
is a former Medical
and Science
correspondent of
the Sunday Times
and author of ‘Will
to be Well’ – the Real
Alternative Medicine
and ‘Aids: The Failure of Contemporary Science’.
He lectures throughout the UK and abroad
on topics such as ‘Health and Spirituality’ and
‘Science and Consciousness’ Neville is a much
sought after speaker, not only for his varied and
interesting experience but also for his insight,
honesty and humour.

Life offers us many interesting challenges. Whether at home, in the workplace or in relationships, dealing with these challenges can deplete our energy and make us lose our equilibrium, or they can be an opportunity to stretch ourselves and move forward. How do we develop our creative capacity so that we are able to meet our challenges in an easy and life enhancing way?
Miriam Subirana is the
National Co-ordinator of
Brahma Kumaris activities
in Spain. She travels
internationally speaking on a
wide range of topics related
to personal development.
Holding a PhD in Fine Arts, Miriam has helped
set-up a number of spiritual art galleries for the
Brahma Kumaris and is a member of the Organising
Committee of the International Art Forum held in Italy
since 1993. She is the author of ‘Who Rules in Your
Life’, published by RBA Books, Barcelona
