Introduction: The Student Creativity Competition comes to develop the creativity skills among the students of the Colleges of Applied Sciences. It helps to create motivation for youth in order to open doors for creativity, skills and innovative capabilities in different fields in which the students of the colleges are distinguished. Continuous efforts are directed to provide programs and activities that help in developing and upgrading talents, creativity and innovations in students, which will lead to a rich creative experience that makes students involved in the social development process. In addition, those renewable energies are promised with more experience to get a better future at all levels. Therefore, it is our pleasure; as Student Services Center, to present to you the competition guidance in the following fields:

General Conditions:• Thecollegeshouldparticipatesinthepreviousmentionedcompetitionswith

itsregularstudentsintheacademicyear2015/»2016.»StudentsshouldshowtheuniversityandIDcardwhenparticipatinginthedifferentcompetitions.

• Studenthastherighttoparticipateinmorethanonefieldofcompetitions.

• All students’worksshouldbe inbothArabicandEnglishandshouldbecheckedintermoflanguage.

• Thepresentedworksshouldnothavebeenparticipatedwithbefore.

• Colleges should insure the quality of the student’s works as well as theintellectualpropertyrightsinordertoavoidthelegalliability.»

• Colleges shouldsend theexactnumber foreverycompetition.» Incaseofanyexceeding,»thecollegewillbedismissedfromthecompetition.

• Thefirstthreewinnersinallcompetitionswillbeawarded.»Thefollowingcompetenceawardswillbegranted:(Media,»Scout,»ScientificandGeneral)»

• TheEvaluationCommitteehastherighttoinstantlydismissanyprojectincaseofconditionsviolation.

• ThenumberofparticipantsineachprojectshouldnotexceedtwostudentsandshouldbefromthesameCollege.

E: Student Company Competition:

Condition:• The project should be based on legal foundations and the number of

participantsshouldnotbemorethantwo.

• Provideapresentationincludingthefollowing:

»» Technical explanation of the project (components and parts of theproject,»andexplaintheprojectstructure).

»» Clarifytherecords,»usedtoolsandthetargetpeopleoftheproject.»» Thedesignof theproject should include the logo,» companybusinesscardandclarifytheadministrativeandorganizationalstructureofthecompanyifitispossible.

»» Highlighting the mechanism of marketing and promotion for thecompanyandclarifythepricingprocesses.»Clarifyingtheideaandtheeconomicalandproductionfeasibilityareconsidered.

F: Mobile Applications Competition:This competition focuses on innovating or developing mobile

programs and applications that serve the society like GPS program and applications related to health, economy, police and general services.

Fourth: Media Creativity:Conditions:

• » Commitment to the journalism writings standards according to thejournalismtypesmentionedinthecompetition.

• Commitmenttothecorrectlanguageandspellinginallpresentedworks.

• ProvidingtheStudentServicesCenterwithmaximumthreeworksinArabicforthejournalismcompetitionswithdocumentationofthereadablereleaseandawordcopyofthesameworkinadditiontothreeworksinEnglishforthe journalism competitionswith documentation of the readable releaseorelectronicreleaseandawordcopyofthesamework.»Thesedocumentsshouldbepublished in thewebsites of differentmedia institutionsor inapprovede-newspapers.»

• Studentshouldwritehispersonalinformationandtheideaofthepaintingbehindthework.

• Studentisfreetouseanyrawandcolorshe/shefindssuitableinexpressingtheideaofhis/herpainting.

B: Three-dimensional Composition Competition:

• Creatingbalanceinthesculpturepartsbetweenthemass,»thespaceandthecohesionofthesculpture’spartsinacorrectway.

• Commitmenttothetechniqueofthethree-dimensionalartworkthroughstyle,»rawmaterialsformingandparts.

• Framingtheartworkwithasuitableframewithinthemeasurementandtheappropriateshapeaesthetically.

• Itisallowedtouseadditionalrawmaterialsinthecollageiftheworkrequiredsuchthingslikewood,»gesso,»thickpapersoranyotherlightcomponents.

• Creating balance between the photo and its internal components as thebalancepropertycontrolsthehighusageofthelightsources.

• Thepresencesoftheaestheticalvaluesinthephotointermsofthenatureoftheselectedscene,»thespaceandthebackground.

• Thephotosizeshouldnotbemorethan(42cm)»inlengthand(29.7cm)»inwidthnotlessthanthat(A3).

E: Artistic Poster Competition:• The idea of the poster should be clear and purposefulwith nomystery,»

• Thesizeofthepostershouldnotbemorethan(42cm)» inlengthandnotlessthan(29.7cm)»inwidth.

• Thepostershouldhaveapurposefulideathathassocial,»advertising,»culturalorartisticgoals.

• Ifneeded,»letterscanbeusedinposterinaclearandbalancedwaywhetheritisinArabicorinanotherlanguagetakingintoaccounttherulesofthelanguage.

Artwork Selection criteria:• EachcollegeshouldparticipatewithminimumtwostudentsintheArtistic

CreativityCompetitiontodescribeworksintheopening.

• Thecollegeshouldnotputthenameofastudentonaworknotproducedbyhim/her.

• FivepointswillbedeductedfromthecollegeaccusedwithCopyingandplagiarism.

• Choosingtheartworkaccordingtoitspowerandclarityoftheidea.

• Theartworkshouldhasabalancedandappropriateestablishmentwithinthespaceandmassoftheartwork.

• Usingcolorsinaclear,»scientificandidenticaltechnique.

• Theartworkshouldbeoriginalandnotadaptedfromanyotherartworksintermsofideaandstyle,»whichwillreflectthestudent’spersonalinnovation.

• Theartworkshouldnotbeparticipationinanypreviousexhibitions.

• The finishing of the artwork should be accurate and complete with nochancesforweaknessandincompleteness.

• Theartworksshouldbeseparatedbytransparentpaperswhensubmissiontobesortedonthecolleges’level,»sothattheworksdonotstickwitheachotherespeciallythedrawingsandthecalligraphy.»Thedigitaldesigningandphotographyworksshouldbealsoseparated.

• Theworksthatcontainwronglanguageexpressionswillbeexcluded.

• Eachcollegeparticipatesineachcompetitionwithnomorethantenworks.»

Studenthastherighttoparticipateinthreecompetitionsatthemost.• TheArtworks should be submitted to the ExhibitionCommitteewith a

blackframeaftersorting(drawingsandthecalligraphy).

• Photographyanddesignworksshouldbeprintedin(A3)»onthickFoamBoard.

• TheworksofthecollegesshouldbesubmittedtotheSortingCommitteeonaharddiscentitledwiththestudent’sname.»EachfieldoftheArtisticCreativityCompetitionshouldbeinaseparatefile.»Thephotossubmittedtothecommitteeineachfieldshouldnotbemorethantwentyworkphotos.

• TheSortingCommitteecanacceptlessthantenworkswhentherequiredlevelofparticipationisnotachieved.»

Sixth: Research Creativity:Conditions:• Commitmenttothecorrectlanguageandspellinginallpresentedresearches.

• Researcher should be committed to the rules and methodology of thescientificresearch.

• Researchpagesshouldnotbelessthantwentypages,»excludingappendices,»

shapes,»tablesandthequestionnaire.

• Researchercharacterinhis/herresearchshouldbeclearwithresearchtoolmanifestedinthecorrectlanguage.»

• Thenumberofparticipantsineachresearchshouldnotbemorethantwostudents.

• Only one hard copy of the research should be sent in addition to theelectroniccopy.

• The presented research should be in Arabic or English and has noparticipationsinpreviouscompetitions.

• Commitmenttothecorrectlanguageandspellingintheallpresentedworks.

• Thepoemorthestoryshouldnotbepublishedbefore.

• Sendingonlyonehardcopyofthesameworkthatcontainsnoinformationabout theparticipant.»This information shouldbeonlyon the electroniccopy.

• Providing a visual presentation; not more than five minutes,» about theactivitiescarriedoutbytheclan.

• Publishingscoutactivitiesinmediaandscoutwebsites.

Ninth: Poetry Competition:Conditions:

• Everycollegeparticipateswithtwostudentsonly.

• Versesshouldbecorrectinmeterandrhyme.

• Satireversesareprohibitedinthecontest.• Repetitionofthesameversesinthesamecontestisprohibited.
