In a complex sentence there are two types of clause. (Clauses are separated by commas or a conjunction).

The main clause tells the main bit of information, and makes sense on its own.

The subordinate clause gives extra information, and does not make sense on its own!

Now you have created a poster to advertise your Greek island resort you need to make a promotional leaflet to further persuade people to visit.

It will need to be nice and bright, use a range of persuasive techniques and capture the reader's imagination.

Now you have written your introduction and paragraphs about your resort you need to use your ARMS and COGS for editing to check though your work. Ensure your sentences are clear, make sense, use lots of descriptive and persuasive language and are punctuated correctly.

Next week you will be turning your draft into a fully finished leaflet.
