AVID’s mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in
a global society.
AVID Excel MissionTo interrupt the path and change
the trajectory of long-term ELLs by accelerating language acquisition,
developing literacy, and placing the AVID Excel students on the path to
high school AVID and college preparatory coursework
