27 Here is a paragraph a student wrote. There are some mistakes in the paragraph. Some sentences may have more than one mistake, and other sentences may contain no mistakes at all. There are no mistakes in spelling.

Of all the sports I have ever played, basketball is my

favorite. This year, I was chose to be team captain of my

elementary school basketball team in Shaker heights, Ohio. I

enjoy dribbling the ball and passing them to the other players

on my team. I especially like scoring points! When we practice,

the coach remind us that basketball is a team sport and talks

to us about passing the ball. Since I am team captain, my coach

often says to me, “Lead by example. Even though I like to score

points and am the best shooter on the team. I try to pass the

ball to different players on the team. I know we will win more

often if we play together as a team.
