Reflexion The aim of the Lexical Analysis course is to have a better understanding about the English Language in terms of grammar, vocabulary, meanings, speech, etc. The English Languageis an informative text that allows you to achieve that aim and understand more about English in terms of history and geography. On the one hand, there is information and details about the origins and roots of the English language, which are related to history. In this part of the text you can see the significant people that were part of the formation process of the English language; the chronological events that became part of the process; the different English periods throughout history, and the different languages that contributed to the English language, such as French and Latin among others. All that is what created the English that exists nowadays, and is important for me as a student to have that knowledge. Moreover, in this text it can be appreciated in which ways a Language can be affected, either by internal or external changes, which at the same time make a division in the language, creating different varieties or dialects and different ways of expressing. This obviously can alter the whole society we live in, and according to me, that is why is so important to know about those aspects. In conclusion, I think “The English Language” document is very helpful and useful in order to learn more about the English Language. It does not matter if you are a teacher, student, etc. “The English Language” can for sure help me to achieve the Lexical Analysis objectives. Why? Because when I read it, I noticed the relationship it has with what have seen in the Lexical Analysis course inside the classroom. I understood it, and I can say that it complements with what I know about English language and also with what I have seen in my classes. Juan Andres Rosales Torres / Lexical Analysis

Reflexion

The aim of the Lexical Analysis course is to have a better understanding about the English

Language in terms of grammar, vocabulary, meanings, speech, etc.

“The English Language” is an informative text that allows you to achieve that aim and

understand more about English in terms of history and geography.

On the one hand, there is information and details about the origins and roots of the

English language, which are related to history. In this part of the text you can see the

significant people that were part of the formation process of the English language; the

chronological events that became part of the process; the different English periods

throughout history, and the different languages that contributed to the English language,

such as French and Latin among others. All that is what created the English that exists

nowadays, and is important for me as a student to have that knowledge.

Moreover, in this text it can be appreciated in which ways a Language can be affected,

either by internal or external changes, which at the same time make a division in the

language, creating different varieties or dialects and different ways of expressing. This

obviously can alter the whole society we live in, and according to me, that is why is so

important to know about those aspects.

In conclusion, I think “The English Language” document is very helpful and useful in order

to learn more about the English Language. It does not matter if you are a teacher, student,

etc.

“The English Language” can for sure help me to achieve the Lexical Analysis objectives.

Why? Because when I read it, I noticed the relationship it has with what have seen in the

Lexical Analysis course inside the classroom. I understood it, and I can say that it

complements with what I know about English language and also with what I have seen in

my classes.
