PHONE POLICY: Kingwood High School has an open-phone policy. Students are allowed to carry and use their phones throughout the school day. But! When you enter my classroom, the rules regarding phone usage become my rules. If you carry your phone on your person, you will be required to store it in the pictured hanger until you leave class. If you keep your phone in your backpack, it should remain there until you leave class. This is not to say we will never use our handheld devices in class. I will alert you to when it is acceptable to have your device out and for use. Infractions of my phone policy will result in a principal referral.
