    Oral Communication

    Oral Communication refer to spoken verbalcommunication which relies on both words, visual aidsand non-verbal elements to support presentation of themeaning.

    Communication comprise of 55% body language, 38%tone and 7% contact words. Known as the 7%-38%-55% rule.

    Different from hearing because we controlwhat we hear and give full attention to whatwe are hearing. For example listening to aradio or lecturer. In addition, not only we

    listen what we hear but understand it aswell.

    An Interpersonal Communication is a processthat we use to communicate our ideas,thoughts and feelings. Interpersonalcommunication is a learned behaviour that canbe compared through knowledge, practice,feedback and reflection.

    Public Communication/Public Speaking

    Public Communication or Public Speaking isnot a private communication. It is a processof speaking to a group of people in astructured deliberate manner in order toinform, influence or entertain the listeners.

    A confident speaker is more likely to usetheir excitement and create effective speech.
