Subject:- Regarding authentication of Location Map of study area (10 km radius From Mining Lease Boundary)

for Birla cement works (A unit of M/s Birla Corporation Ltd.)

Ref:- In order to your letter no F 4(T) Vivid/ CWP/ 2016/3220 dated 22.12.2016.

Sir,

With reference to aforesaid subject, it is requested that this office is directed to authorize the map

as per Point No 15 of Govt of India’s Letter dated 10.09.2014 and submission of complete information after

preparation by User Agency as per Point no 16; in request of this, following information are below:

1. Point Number 15 :- According to this point, some part of Bassi wildlife sanctuary of comes in 10 km radius

area of mine lease. The Mining lease and its 10 km radius area are marked on the G.T. sheet of 1: 50000

scale. The boundary of the sanctuary coming in it has been marked with green color. In same way, Mining

lease area, boundary of Bassi wildlife sanctuary and its proposed eco-sensitive zone has been marked on

Google Earth Image & same is enclosed herewith. On that basis actual distance of mining lease area from

Wildlife sanctuary and eco-sensitive zone may be known

2. Point Number 16 :- As per this point, a conservation plan has been prepared for Schedule-I Wildlife species

found in 10 km radius area of proposed mining lease after including complete information by user agency.

Consent has been declared due to maximum area of 10 km radius study area comes under jurisdiction of

Deputy Forest Conservator vide their letter no 10198 dated 18.08.2017. Authorized signatory is agree with

financial provisions given for Schedule-I Wildlife species in conservation plan.

Two copies along with map sent by user agency are sent.
