Your Progress and Attendance

Report will detail your syllabus,

provide a record of classroom

attendance and your results in the

areas of Grammar, Pronunciation,

Listening, Speaking, Reading,

Writing, Homework, Attitude andTest Scores.

TALKs testing, review anddocumentation processinclude the following: Placement test on your first

day, allowing us to evaluate

your entry level of English

proficiency

Weekly test (on Friday),

allowing us to monitor your

progress

Regular meetings with your

academic coordinator to revieyour progress

Final test allowing us to evalua

On your final day of classes,

Accommodations are

provided with sensitivity,care and attention todetail.The TALK Accommodations

Coordinator inspects and qualifies

all accommodations before our

students use them. You will find

we have selected only the most

conveniently located, cleanest,

most comfortable and most

reasonably priced. All housing

is within a short walk, bicycle or

bus ride from the school, modern

shopping malls, restaurants and

major attractions.

The Accommodations Coordinator

will arrange your accommodations

and send you confirmation details

before you leave home. The

confirmation details will include

the address and telephone num-

ber of your host family, apartment

or hotel and a brief description of

the property and the area.

Accommodations are booked

from the Sunday prior to, and

ending on the Saturday following,your course dates. If you choose

to share a room you will be

assigned a roommate with

consideration to age and native

language.

good areas close to the school

and are typically near shopping

centers and public transportation.

They are fully-furnished and

equipped and frequently have

swimming pools, laundry facilities

comfortable living and sleeping

areas and small functional

kitchens.

Hotel:We have selected a variety of

hotels that range from inexpensiv

family-run establishments to delux

resort-style properties. All are we

managed, quality establishments

located in good areas close to

school and are near shopping

centers, the beach and publictransportation.

This option is designed to meet

the discerning requirements of

business executives.

We love sharing our home

with TALKs students from

abroad.

Our host families welcomeinternational students and have

a genuine interest in sharing their

homes with you, in learning about

you and your country, and in

Living with a US host family has
