  • SCIENCE CLASS VIII-A STEPS TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT FOR A CLEAN, GREEN AND HEALTHY EARTH

Biofertilizers can be expected to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. The microorganisms in biofertilizers restore the soil's natural nutrient cycle and build soil organic matter. Through the use of biofertilizers, healthy plants can be grown while enhancing the sustainability and the health of soil.

Biofuels are a wide range of fuels which are in some way derived from biomass.

The term covers solid biomass, liquid fuels and various biogases. Biofuels are gaining increased public and scientific attention, driven by factors such as oil price spikes, the need for increased energy security, concern over greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuels, and government subsidies.

Human waste disposal in high altitude and low temp areas, moving railway coaches, buses, big Cities, Mines, remote areas, Beaches, Rural areas, long distance buses is a burning problem. The problem has further aggravated in glaciers where ambient temperature drops to -40 degree C and lower. The technology of bio-toilets helps to solve this problem. It is 100% eco- friendly and economically viable.

Collect information on the given topics and sub topics according to the instructions given below: 1. BIOFERTILIZERS

    a) Types of biofertilizers b) Impact on environment c) Benefits d) Examples e) Bio and organic fertilizers f) Images g) Method to make a biofertilizer with pictures h) Organic farming and biofertilizers i) Biofertilizers companies in India
