Outline of Argumentative Essayi. IntroductionThesis (claim and reason): Incentives as a means of motivation that encourages employees to work at optimal performance, which is intended as an extra income outside of wages or salaries have been determined. The main goal of insentive is to give responsibility and motivation to the employees. Companies should give a insentive for the performance of employees by encouraging employee work more passionate, disciplined and creative.

ii. Body ParagraphClaim : Companies must give incentives in the form of money for employee performance as by providing incentives in the form of money employees will be more enthusiastic about working and creative.Evidence :.- By providing incentives in the form of money, employees will feel energized and work harder- Incentives are direct remuneration paid to employees for achievement exceeds the prescribed standards. Assuming that money can encourage employees to work harder, they are more productive like salary paid based on the work. (Mutiara S. Pangabean, 2002: 77)

Claim : Incentives not only make employees excited to work but also give responsibility and encouragement to employees to keep discipline.Evidence : - Reward for his accomplishments make the level of discipline the employee will be higher so as to spur employees in the work will be thorough and careful in work.- The main function of the incentive is to give responsibility and encouragement to employees. Incentives guarantee that employees will direct its efforts to achieve organizational goals. While the main purpose of incentives is to improve the productivity of individual work and group (Panggabean, 2002: 93).Claim : The purpose of giving incentives not only make improved employee productivity, but make the various advantages that many for companies Evidence :- Incentives will make the company retain a skilled workforce and high-skilled so that their loyalty to the company.- Increasing the productivity of the company, which means increased production yield for each unit per unit time and increased sales.

Conclusion Every person when offered a reward that gives results quite profitable for them, then he will be motivated to acquire it. Strong motivational tool it is to provide incentives.Providing incentives mainly material incentives intended to employee material needs are met, with the fulfillment of the material needs of employees expected to work better, faster and in accordance with the standards of the company so that the resulting output can be increased rather than input and ultimately the performance of employees may increase.So, the incentive is a motivational tool that can stimulate or encourage employees to arise within them a greater spirit to excel for improved performance.
