English – Class 4 – Food

1.) Take a look at the worksheet „Fruits and vegetables“ (No. 1).

Copy all the vocabulary into your file.

2.) Draw a table with two columns. Name them „fruits“ and

„vegetables“. Sort the vocabulary from your file and write them

down.

3.) Write two sentences: „I like...“ and „I don‘t like...“. Sort the

vocabulary and write it down.

5.) Read the text about meals out loud three times.

a) a) To start your day, you need breakfast. It is the meal, that

you eat in the morning. For breakfast you can have

bread or cereal. You can also eat fruits, like a

banana. Sometimes people drink milk for breakfast.

b)b) The meal number two is lunch. You eat it in the middle of the

day. Lunch if often hot. You can have things like spaghetti,

fish, or chicken.

c)c) After lunch, sometimes there comes dessert. It is sweet. You

can have icecream for lunch.

d)d) The last meal of the day is dinner and you eat it in the evening.

For dinner we eat bread, cheese, yoghurt or

vegetables like carrots.

6.) Write down all new vocabulary from the text into your file.

7.) Write down one sentence about every meal. Write down, what

kind of food you like for that meal.

8) Name your favorite meal of the day and try to tell why in one

sentence.

vocabulary in the red box (a) and fill out the tasks b and c.
