English 1010 Library Requirement » LOOP The LOOP (Library’s Online Orientation Program) is the online orientation to all that the Brooklyn College Library has to offer. The LOOP shows you how the library works, where you can study, how you can locate information for your research, where you can use a computer, and where you can ask for help. The LOOP is the basis for completion of the English 1010 Library Requirement. Below are the steps to access the LOOP and the LOOP quiz. Don't worry, though! The quiz is openbook — that is, you can keep the LOOP open in one browser window while you complete the quiz in another window. After you successfully submit your quiz for grading, make sure to print the “Gradebook” page that includes your score (70% to pass). The “Gradebook“ grade sheet must be stamped by a librarian at the Library’s Reference Desk, and then handed in to your English 1010 instructor for you to receive credit for the English 1010 Library Orientation program. Here are the stepbystep instructions: 1. Go to the following URL: http://library.brooklyn.cuny.edu/resources/loop/loop.php 2. Go through the LOOP to learn about the library. 3. Take the LOOP quiz: Click the “ON TO THE ENGLISH 1010 / LIBRARY QUIZ” link to access the English 1010 LOOP Quiz.
