England Golf is one of the largest sports governing
bodies in England looking after the interests of over
1,900 golf clubs and 770,000 men and women club

WHAT DOES ENGLAND GOLF DO FOR YOU...
As a non-profit making organisation the income goes straight back into the game and the development and the improvement of resources. You pay an annual fee which is discussed at the golf club. Half of that money goes to EnglandGolf and the other half goes into your own golf club.
The majority of EnglandGolfsfunding comes from affiliation fees paid by golfers. which fund the core activities of the organisation.
Members of each affiliated club pay an annual subscription to their County Union (men) or County Association (women) and to England Golf.
We support every ENGLANDGOLF golf clubThere are over 1,900 clubs in England and EnglandGolf provides knowledge and expertise to support them all.We offer advice on topics including handicaps, rules of golf, course rating, ecology, waste and water mangement, marketing, junior sections, recruitment of members, coaching and child protection,
EnglandGolf lobbies government to ensure clubs are treated fairly and correctly on key legislative issues.
EnglandGolf has developed a Central Database of Handicaps, which stores all members’ handicaps and allows any member access to their handicap online.
We provide offical recognition to clubs who excel in providing junior and beginner friendly facilities through our GolfMark Award. We develop guidlines to ensure clubs are safe and welcoming places to all.
