One of your service department’s greatest assets is your technicians. FPT has developed a wide variety of training programs to ensure that your staff can provide the support that your customers demand.

Today’s equipment has become more sophisticated, and a well-trained service department is necessary to provide the latest troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures to support and repair equipment. In addition, training can increase technician job satisfaction, reduce turnover and increase your organizations profitability.

Some courses are required pre-requisites to future courses. Your ability to register technicians into some courses may be limited if they have not meet the pre-requisites for the course.

Fundamental Overview of FPT Engines

Description This module is an introductory course designed to provide theory, operation, maintenance, service procedures and basic diagnostics for an FPT engine model. After treatment system integration and basic operation are reviewed. Walk around; component location and identification, no hands on diagnostic testing of actual on vehicle systems are planned.
