The First T
• The foundational “T” is Standards/Targets.
• A key task for EL was to “bundle” standards into focused sets. This is critical to determine when students’ achievement of the standards will be assessed.
• Our “theory of action” -- Close Reading – Selecting Evidence – Opinions – Research
• But not the only way!
