About the author My name is Jerry and in this page I will tell you how I got inspired in poetry, and believe or not I, I got inspired from English class. 

When I was young I used to be terrible at writing poems. IN FACT I used to be called “opposite of Shakespeare” when I first wrote poems since I was so bad. Which is why I used to HATE writing poems. 

But then In grade 6, I started to get the idea of how rhyme works and how to feel sounds(when we did the first activity) but still, I had difficulties in this whole project which I had to overcome like me sort of being horrible in similes and metaphors. Finally I came up with a personification poem which I was proud about called “coca cola can”.  After that experience I finally got to  know how creative and fun writing poems were and how imaginative they could be.

There was once was a boy from BeijingWho could never  make a profit for kingUntil he wandered the snowAnd found a rainbowfound the pot of gold, became the lord of the ring
