Ge.Ser.Ind. has a strong competence in the energy management field, providing services concerning the support and control of energy costs and consumption. It collaborates with european partners in audit and advisory activities for customers. We help our customers in capitalizing their own resources, optimizing them and avoiding possible wastes. Our duty consists in supporting you with a constant and personally customized dedication. A significant reduction of energy costs is possible only with a careful control of the energy utilization. Through an analysis of the customer’s characteristics, his consumption and the related energy costs we can find a strategy leading to a greater awareness and a resulting optimization of the energy consumption.

ENERGY AUDIT:

The first step to energy management is the knowIedge of how energy is consumed. “You can’t manage what you don’t measure...” The first tool to know the energy consumption is the ENERGY AUDIT. Generally an energy audit leads to detect interventions of potential savings ranging from 15% to 20%.

TRAINING:

Production and maintenance staff

Who’s aimed at

Objectives

Focused training to teach the production and maintenance staff how the energy management system works (according to the EN 16001 and ISO 50001 regulations based on the “continuous improvement”) and to sensitize the staff about the relevance of their activities to reach the saving of energy consumption.

CONSUMPTION CONTROL SYSTEM AND BMS (Building Management System):

It’s necessary the introduction of a network of meters (to control the consumption over time) and an integrated management system.

Ge.Ser.Ind. can help the customer company in designing, choosing and realizing such systems.

White certificates or Energy Efficiency Titles (TEE)

They are state incentives which fund interventions aimed to realize improvements in energy efficiency. These titles are released by AEEG through ENEA; projects must be presented to ENEA which evaluates the respect to the necessary requirements to release the titles. These titles can be sold to subjects or inside the Stock Market. E.S.Co. can present projects to obtain the white certificates.

Ge.Ser.Ind. as an E.S.Co. can present projects to obtain White Certificates and allow the customer company to get additional economic benefits.

ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS):

Without an energy management system based on the continuous improvement any effort leads to results of limited duration. The best strategy for a constant consumption reduction is managing the energy according to the standards introduced by the EN 16001 and ISO 50001 field regulations.

The results of the introduction of a management system and an energy audit are encouraging: • implementing only the no/low cost interventions you can obtain savings of 5-10% • with mid-term investments (returns in 1-3 years) you can achieve savings of 10-15% • the introduction of a management system allow to reach values around 15-20 % and to keep such results over time
